Who ? I am 51 years old and have been a French teacher for 27 years in French-speaking secondary education in Belgium. For three years now, I have decided to follow the entrepreneurial path by offering freelance courses. With hindsight today, I regret not having done it sooner as the exchange with new people, young and old, French-speaking or not, is particularly enriching.
What? I offer French or FLE courses based on multiple sources and I renew them regularly because it is important to be in adequacy with the current society.
Or ? I go to the learner's home where we decide to do the course online.
When? I work at the Belgian-Luxembourg border and I go to Luxembourg 4 to 5 times a week, usually at the beginning or end of the afternoon. I am also available on weekends.

Who? I am 49 years old and have been a French teacher for 27 years in French-speaking secondary education in Belgium. Where? Normally I go to the learner's home. For the moment, online courses are also popular.

➤ Learn French with a successful technique: the main objective is to acquire bases or improve your level in French (written & oral: pronunciation, comprehension, language construction, communication, conjugation, grammar & vocabulary). It is also to understand the cultural specificities of Switzerland & France.

➤ Whether it is for work or leisure, the classes are adjusted to the initial diagnosis and to your needs.

➤ The method focuses on your own goals and:

• are adjusted to your own rhythm, with (funny) oral and writing exercises
• help to improve your everyday/practical skills
• on interactivity: you learn much more quickly with private sessions and you develop listening and vocabulary skills in an effective way
• these classes are customized courses to create an environment adjusted to each person, to meet your individual needs & requirements, and to learn French effectively.

➤ Statistically, you will be able to notice that you have progressed with these private classes, after 2 or 3 classes (based on our 2023 survey).

Hi! I'm (your name), a Colombian lawyer with over 6 years of professional experience and a true passion for teaching Spanish. I was born and raised in Colombia, which gives me a natural command of Latin American Spanish — including everyday expressions, slang, and cultural nuances that you won't find in a textbook.
I specialize in beginner and intermediate Spanish for teenagers and adults, with a strong conversational focus: you'll learn by speaking, not by memorizing rules. My classes are dynamic, friendly, and tailored to your pace and goals. I believe the best way to truly learn a language is through real conversations, meaningful practice, and a comfortable environment where making mistakes is part of the process.
As a lawyer, I can also help you with formal and professional vocabulary if that's something you need — whether for work emails, legal contexts, or simply sounding more confident in professional settings.
From our very first class, we'll focus on getting you to communicate naturally and confidently. You'll build vocabulary for real-life situations, improve your pronunciation with a clear Latin American accent, and gain a deeper understanding of Colombian and Latin American culture along the way.
No prior knowledge needed — just the desire to learn. I'll take care of the rest!

Hello! I’m Elisabeth, and I offer personalized English and French lessons, as well as history classes for children and high school students.

Whether you’re learning a new language, improving your speaking and writing skills, preparing for school, or simply curious about history, my goal is to make every lesson engaging, clear, and adapted to your level and learning style.

Languages:
🇬🇧 English: beginner to advanced, conversation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and pronunciation
🇫🇷 French: beginner to advanced, conversation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing

History:
📚 Lessons for children through high school, with a focus on making historical events easy to understand and remember. We can cover specific school topics, prepare for exams, work on assignments, or explore historical periods and civilizations in greater depth.

I believe learning should feel encouraging rather than intimidating. I adapt my lessons to each student, using examples, conversations, stories, and practical exercises to make the material easier to understand and remember.

I offer you a new learning experience.

Academic success, even at the university level, is determined by the ability to understand and write different types of texts. I offer courses that will allow you to overcome the difficulties you encounter in reading or writing by giving you the text-writing toolkit that school, unfortunately, doesn't provide. I myself had to build this toolkit over the years at university, and I will gladly share it with you so that you can succeed.

Here are the different points that my offer covers:

READING
Guided reading
Effective reading strategies
Text theory (structure, function, typology...)
General knowledge
Communication Theory

PRODUCTION
Reformulation
Summary
Reading log
Accurate
Text analysis
Characterization
Interpretation
Text explanation
Text commentary
Dissertation Essay
Comment
Argumentation

You can take a full course with regular sessions or one-off courses to do specific work such as writing a reading summary.

Lessons can be taken individually or in groups. The methods are flexible to adapt to each individual case.

What matters to me in particular:

motivate my student and give him a learning pace;
encourage their creativity;
to awaken his curiosity;
to forge a friendship with the texts

During this first lesson, you can get a solid idea of my teaching style. I look forward to meeting you.
