Piano teacher and an accompanist I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. I am a piano teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching children ages from 4 to 15. I offer piano lessons for the beginners up to intermediate level. I teach in a friendly and encouraging manner, my pupils enjoy making music .Solfege, theory and aural training are parts of the lessons.

I propose online classes to help those who are interested in learning how to play the piano or how to improve. I studied Classical and Jazz music for 12 years in a Conservatory and have already some experience teaching. My objective is to help the student progress as fast as possible while having fun.

Second-year student at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Lyon in the 9th arrondissement, I teach at my home or in my neighborhood (9th). I adapt to any age and any level and can vary the duration of classes between 30 min and 3h depending on the desires and needs of each student. I teach for about 3 years. I am a graduate of CRR de Paris.

Student in musicology, formerly at the conservatory in percussion, I give particular lessons in solfège. Passionate about music and pedagogy, I break the codes of traditional teaching for a transmission of knowledge more adapted and flexible, corresponding to the profile of the student.

Student at the Conservatoire de Lyon in the last year of recorder, and graduated from musical training (solfège), I also taught at the School of Music Tassin-la-Demi-Lune (69) in these areas. Also, having a license of musicology, I propose a preparation to the baccalaureate for the option music (musical culture, instrument, oral and / or written preparation)

My lessons take place in a good mood, but with the necessary requirement to progress well! Music must be above all a pleasure, so I am always kind, patient, and attentive. I do not apply a pre-established pedagogy, I adapt to the needs of each. For some, learning goes faster by imitation, by ear; for others it passes through technical benchmarks; still others need to appropriate the tools through creation (I sometimes have my students compose songs). My diverse background allows me to approach both the classical repertoire, to build a sound and solid technique, but also variety and jazz, for those who dream for example to get on a piano and improvise what comes to them! I can also teach you music training, writing, arrangement (I have Sibelius 7), and I can help you compose songs or harmonize melodies. I obtained my piano prize unanimously and my improvement prize at the Regional Conservatory of Saint-Maur. I am currently continuing my studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon. I have a solid teaching experience, having worked in several conservatories and music schools in the Paris region. I give piano and music theory lessons for all ages and all levels in Lyon.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. I have over 12 years of teaching experience and I have been working as a Professional Pianist for 7 years now, in 8 different countries (Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Spain etc.) and on Luxury Cruise Ships (Worldwide). I can show you how to have fun with the piano. If you're a beginner, I can take you right from step one and have you playing familiar songs by the 1st or 2nd lesson. If you already have some experience, I can add to it. My main goal is helping you achieving your goals and preparing the best lesson for you! I love teaching all ages. I don't teach everyone the same way. I tailor lessons according to individual goals and needs. I insist on the importance of technique and musicality. I also guide all my students even outside of the teaching time, by responding to all their questions (music theory or technical) and sending them videos. I teach how to prevent Piano Injuries by focusing on proper technique, posture, and practice habits. My professional experience includes coaching students of all levels and ages. I successfully prepared the students with their Piano Exams like ABRSM, Trinity Grade, from grade 1-8, with merits and distinctions, and more advanced exams as well (Performance Diplomas). I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old and my youngest one has 3 years old. They made great progress, I am sure you could do the same. I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music. I am offering Pop, Jazz, Classical singing classes for all levels and ages - basically whoever wants to initiate, improve, or perfect their vocal technique is welcome. I teach both in person and online. I have students from all over the world: Netherlands, France, Japan, Bulgaria, Latvia and more. I have students who sing for pleasure and students who are preparing for auditions and competitions. Feel free and find enjoyment and confidence in singing! In lessons, we will focus on extending the vocal range, breath support, interpretation, as well as learning to read music (if you have no previous musical training). I will be able to help you with a repertoire in Italian, German, French, and Russian - learning languages was a part of my training. I have a bachelor's degree in classical singing from Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I have 12 years of vocal experience and 20 years of studying music in total.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.
