I studied at a conservatory in France, a higher education institution in Belgium, and with private lessons in Germany in classical and baroque violin. I continue to refine my skills and am committed to providing supportive instruction that is attentive to each student's needs. Annual trips, workshops, and tours enrich my skills and teaching methods. Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels). My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing. Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique. The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. I offer personalized transverse flute and/or music theory lessons for students of all ages, from beginner to 2nd cycle. I suggest starting with the flute method of Arlette Biget and Claude-Henry Joubert. Once the basics are acquired, I suggest relying on "le petit flûté" then "le voyage du petit flûté" which contain CDs with models and accompaniment tracks. I provide photocopies for working on technique and music theory. If the student wants to play a particular piece, I can make a suitable arrangement.
