Lessons are tailored to the individual's profile and their goal in learning the instrument.

The instrument in the service of music: using an instrumental support to awaken one's musical curiosity, to better understand music and the codes of a piece, a standard or a sound.
The preparation: learning the basics of learning the instrument in a technical way but with a little music theory in order to prepare for entry into a conservatory.
Playing in a group: knowing how to play in an ensemble and learning the codes of the orchestra or a group by developing the ear through the recognition of structure, rhythm and chords.
Harmony and improvisation: learning to improvise or harmonize, whether in jazz or pop music.

About Me
Olivier joined the Versailles Regional Conservatory at the age of 6 in Saskia Lethiec's class. After studying in a flexible schedule with double studies and obtaining his Baccalaureate at the age of 15, he received his Prize with Jury's congratulations in Xavier Guilloteau's class.

He learned composition on his own and created his first symphony in 2013 at the International Academy of Flaine, where his teachers included Florin Szigeti and Constantin Bogdanas.
His project Headway with his old friend Louis Boniface, for which he is the composer, earned him an award at the Icares du Cinéma in the short film category.
He also began to delve into jazz with Serge Forte and Philippe Baden-Powell as his tutors on jazz piano.
As a member of the Paris East Philharmonic Orchestra, he has undertaken various orchestral tours in Europe with the Greater Peace String Orchestra and the Timbres Orchestra.
He also often does covers in all styles and often performs solo or as a duo.

Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses.

Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels).

My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing.

Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique.

The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible.

I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar.

Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. This allows an inimitable sound quality.

References on request

Follow up by email/phone as needed between lessons.

Examples of pieces you will be able to play after a year: works by Bach, Giuliani, Fernando Sor, Carcassi, Aguado, Jeux Interdits, baroque flamenco, romantic works
