I offer private piano lessons in contemporary, jazz, and pop music styles. A graduate of the DEM Jazz program at the Lyon Conservatory, I taught piano in music schools for seven years. I also have classical piano training at the conservatory, having started playing the piano at the age of five.

Education

I studied at the Conservatorium of Lyon, Vienne and Strasbourg from 2006 to 2019, in classical piano and jazz piano, in order to obtain my DEM in jazz piano in 2019.
I also have a Jazz group named Equinox in Lyon in which I am a singer and a pianist, and we are preparing an album.

My method: For beginners, we will try to play as quickly as possible some pieces, riffs and melodies. I will introduce you to chords, different ways of accompanying, in arpeggios, in strumming, with percussions... and rhythm!

For intermediates, we can refine your playing by discovering specific guitar techniques: bends, slides, back and forth, sweeping, legato, tapping, string-skipping, chicken-picking, etc. There is plenty to do! 😅 We will further install your sense of rhythm, the true foundation of solid musical expression. I have a simple and infallible method for learning scales, harmony and knowing how to use them. We will start improvisation, this exhilarating feeling of letting go giving an incredible feeling of freedom, to demystify the great masters of the guitar: Hendrix, Django, Gilmour, Knopfler, Stevie Ray, Clapton, Gallagher, Page.. and the one you like!

For apprentice shredders, with my technical skills, I will analyze your playing, freeing the blocking points, explore the harmony while refining the implementation because rhythm is music!
