This class fits students of different age groups and playing levels. From absolute beginners about to make their first (musical) steps to more advanced players with more precise goals.

The approach is individual and we will discuss the desired goals in advance and build the learning process around those. Some topics that are usually covered are - rhythm guitar, being able to accompany yourself while singing (in different styles and techniques), lead guitar, improvisation (from basics to advanced), general knowledge of the fretboard and technique.

About Me

Hi! I'm a bachelor student of Maastricht conservatory, specialising in jazz guitar. I've been playing and teaching professionally for more than 10 years now, have a lot of experience with students of different ages and levels. Will gladly work with absolute beginners, as well as more advanced players who want to take their playing to a next level. To those who are interested I also offer lessons in music theory (modern music oriented rather than classical), which can be integrated to instrument lessons or taught separately. I have a highly individual approach to every student, prioritise the musical goals and direction that the student wants to go or help to develop those and am doing my best to achieve great results together. Since childhood, I have been passionate about music, singing, and dancing along to performances on television. My musical journey began in 2001 when I started training as a pianist. In 2017, I was awarded a full scholarship to study for a Diploma in Music at SEGi College Subang Jaya, Malaysia, where I expanded my skills in classical singing and violin. I later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Studies with First Class Honours from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, accredited by Trinity College Dublin, followed by a Master’s degree in Opera and Music Performance from the Conservatorium Maastricht, graduating with cum laude.

With 17 years of teaching experience, I have guided students of all levels—from beginners to aspiring professionals. Some of my students have been accepted into prestigious music colleges with full scholarships, while others have passed their piano and singing exams with distinction. I understand that not every student enjoys music lessons at first, and I take the time to communicate with both students and parents to find the best approach for each individual. My goal is to create a positive, engaging learning environment where students not only improve their musical skills but also develop confidence, creativity, and a love for music.

My name is Fabiola, and I am a violin and viola teacher and children’s orchestra conductor based in Maastricht. I work with students of all ages, creating a supportive, creative, and personalized learning environment where each student can grow at their own pace and enjoy making music.

As an active orchestral performer, I bring my professional experience on stage directly into my teaching. I help students develop a solid technique while fostering musicality, expression, and confidence. I use a variety of teaching approaches, including Suzuki, ABRSM, Trinity, and Galamian methods, adapting them to each student’s age, personality, and goals.

In my lessons, I also focus on how to practice effectively at home, tackle challenging passages, and prepare confidently for public performances.

I began my musical journey with El Sistema in Venezuela and continued my studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, specializing in both performance and pedagogy. I completed a Master’s in Violin Performance with a focus on Spanish music, as well as a symphonic master’s in collaboration with the Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra (Orquesta RTVE).

I currently collaborate with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, while also teaching private violin and viola lessons. I believe that discipline and enjoyment go hand in hand, and I enjoy guiding each student in their artistic and personal growth.

Hello! I am an English saxophonist, guitarist, pianist and composer / music theorist, currently based in Maastricht, NL. I've been playing saxophone, guitar and piano for 15 years and after building a life around music and creative expression, it's my passion to share that with anyone eager to learn; at any level.
I spent 2019-2022 touring South East Asia and East Africa playing saxophone in a jazz ensemble, and teaching at schools and privately. Music has been a passport for me to travel the world and connect with such a variety of people and cultures. I believe music can bring so much value to our lives, it can excite us and move us, give us a sense of purpose and identity and ultimately enrich us in ways we would never otherwise grow.
