I'm at the VUB university and I'm studying Commercial Engineering. I can help with math, economics, French and possibly other subjects if you have difficulties with that. I can teach for a primary school and a secondary education level.
I try to explain the subject matter in a way that the student would understand and could apply to exercises. We do a lot of exercises with the student, we do them together in the beginning, but I also let the student do a lot of exercises alone to see if the student can do it alone. If the student cannot do it, I explain the subject matter again and we do more exercises together.

About Me
My name is Sebastian. I've been in a Dutch-speaking school since kindergarten because my parents speak French and they wanted me to learn another language. It helped me a lot and now I speak Dutch and French fluently.

I have little brothers and a sister whom I sometimes help when they have difficulties. This has given me experience and I know which methods they can help.

I try to find out what they don't understand first and then I explain. I then do a few exercises together and at the end I let the student do exercises alone if he/she says he/she has understood. In this way I can confirm that the student has indeed understood. I try to give the student as little stress as possible and if he still does not understand the subject matter I want to explain it to him again in a different way and do exercises together. It is very important to me that the student understands. It may therefore be that a lesson is a little less or more than 60 minutes, but that is not a problem. Everyone has their own rhythm and I adapt to the student.
Education
I am currently in my first year of my master's degree in commercial engineering at the VUB.
My secondary school was Sint-Jozefscollege in Woluwe.
In the first I followed the direction of Modern Languages.
From the third year I took economics in my direction eco5 with 5 hours of mathematics.
Finally, I followed economics mathematics from the fifth year in which I had 4 hours of economics and 7 hours of mathematics.
Experience / Qualifications
I have now been able to teach a few students on Apprentus.
I like economics and mathematics because they are subjects that I understand well and for which I get good marks. With my field of study, these are also the most courses I take.

The courses of Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Physics - Mechanics - Electricity - Chemistry - Organic Chemistry - Biology, and Geology of secondary or university levels (French, Belgian, European, or international programs) are given by explanations either in-depth either by a quick course and summary of essential need depending on the case of each student supported by exercises from the book or assessments and exams from other high schools.
My experience is too long and for years I have learned methods for each case and for each student to fill in their gaps with the best results of Excellent, Very Good, and Good.
I can also help students to better prepare for courses and support them to better prepare for the duties of CNED in science subjects.

I can teach you mathematics, both at the basic and advanced levels. I can also help prepare you for the GRE test. Mathematics is all about practice and having good teachers, so if you have both, it should not be a problem for you. I have always excelled in math, and I genuinely enjoy it. I would like to use my skills to help others.

I can solve various types of problems and assist you in gaining a better understanding of them. Math primarily involves practice, but with the guidance of good teachers, like the ones I had, you can save a lot of time in the process.

A highly experienced Franco-Belgian teacher (ook in het nederlands!) offers private lessons in mathematics (including finance), probability and statistics, as well as physics, chemistry, and biology for secondary and higher education levels. For physics, chemistry, and biology, the instruction is tailored to the secondary level, specifically up to the 5th year of secondary education in Belgium.

Whether you prefer lessons at your place, my place, or remotely, I am flexible to accommodate your needs. If necessary, I can travel to your home in Brussels, Walloon and Flemish Brabant, with a minimum duration of 2 hours per session. The lessons are designed to provide extensive practice with numerous exercises. Distance learning options are also available through platforms such as Skype, Facebook, etc. Please note that for students in France, only distance learning courses are provided.

In mathematics, I specialize in various topics and frequently provide lessons covering the entire secondary school curriculum, including math 6 and higher. These topics encompass factorization, equations of the 1st and 2nd degree (with in-depth study of parabolas), limits, derivatives, integrals, exponentials and logarithms, as well as trigonometry. Additionally, I am occasionally called upon to teach analytical geometry in space, including equations of lines and planes.

For statistics and probabilities, I provide instruction in descriptive and inferential statistics (univariate and bivariate), covering confidence intervals and hypothesis tests, applicable to secondary and higher education levels.

Feel free to reach out to me to discuss and arrange the lessons based on your specific needs and availability. My aim is to help you enhance your skills effectively and provide personalized instruction. By tailoring the lessons to your requirements, we can ensure rapid progress in your studies.

Math teacher gives private lessons in math-statistics and probability.

My teaching has already proven itself with several students that I have already followed and that I continue to follow. It consists of short-term help in overcoming the difficulties of a project or of certain chapters, just as it also consists of continuous monitoring to give students the means to play a role in their successes. The main goal is not to learn selfishly, but to teach the student how to manage his time and his way of working: these points are very important for success in these studies continuously.
my course is for students:

> Secondary: I offer a lesson to the students + the exercises
> Central jury: I offer a course to students, work on exams from previous years
> Entrance exam of medicine and polytechnic .: I offer a course support to students, cards, summaries, qcm.
> Higher education students: statistics and probability: descriptive statistics, probability, inferential statistics (binomial, normal, Poisson, sampling-estimation, confidence intervals, statistical tests (hypotheses) chi-square test, Anova.etc).

Hi! I'm Clément, 22 years old. After graduating from the Royal Athenaeum in Koekelberg, I started studying Applied Economics at the VUB, where I'm currently in my third year of my bachelor's degree. During my studies, I regularly helped fellow students with economics and mathematics.
I hope to help you understand the subject matter better and who knows, maybe even get you excited about the subject! In my lessons I work calmly: we start with the core concepts and build from there, so that you get a clear overview and become confident about the subject matter.

Hello
I offer math lessons for high school students. I myself had 8 hours of math a week. I accompany the student in the exercises but also in the understanding of the theory. You can contact me to prepare for an exam or for difficulties during the year. Having already given lessons, I will adapt to the needs of the student. It is often easier for a student to understand the material when it is explained by someone who has also had to study the material.
The course can be given in French, Dutch and English.

I give private lessons in mathematics and physics at the level of secondary education and also university.

Doctor in quantum physics and graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de Paris (one of the most prestigious French institutions in research and higher education) in fundamental physics and mathematics, I carried out research in theoretical physics at a high level for 8 years (including 2 years at Yale University in the United States). In parallel with my studies and my research activity, I carried out teaching and academic support activities for several years.

I have a lot of teaching experience. My educational goal is to reassure the student, allow them to acquire solid knowledge, as well as their own intuition and autonomy in solving problems on each aspect of the program. In all cases I adapt my approach to the needs of each student.

Lessons can take place online, at my home, or at the student's home (around Brussels). The teaching can be in French, English or Italian. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!

Welcome to my profile.
I am an experienced mathematics and science teacher with over seven years of experience helping students strengthen their understanding, improve their results and become more confident, independent learners.
My lessons are designed for students and families who value high-quality, well-prepared and personalised teaching. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all course, I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, objectives, school programme and learning style.
I teach students who need to rebuild essential foundations as well as those working on advanced topics, examinations or demanding international programmes such as the European Baccalaureate and International Baccalaureate, as well as, the various Belgian programs.

◆ MY TEACHING APPROACH ◆

• • Initial assessment • •
We begin by identifying the student’s current level, strengths, difficulties and academic objectives.

• • Personalised lesson planning • •
Each student receives a structured learning approach based on their specific needs, curriculum and pace of progress.

• • Clear and accessible explanations • •
Complex concepts are broken down into logical, manageable steps, with visual representations and carefully selected examples.

• • Active problem-solving • •
Students are encouraged to think, explain their reasoning and develop reliable methods for approaching unfamiliar questions.

• • Targeted practice • •
Exercises are selected to address specific weaknesses, consolidate knowledge and prepare effectively for tests and examinations.

• • Regular review and feedback • •
Previously studied material is revisited when necessary, and clear feedback is provided to help the student understand what has improved and what still requires attention.

◆ WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ◆

Professionalism and reliability are central to my work:
• • Lessons prepared in advance and tailored to the student
• • Punctual and well-structured sessions
• • Patient, respectful and focused teaching
• • Clear explanations without unnecessary complication
• • Constructive and timely feedback
• • Adaptation based on the student’s progress
• • A serious learning environment that remains supportive and encouraging

My objective is not simply to help students complete exercises. I aim to help them understand the underlying concepts, develop stronger reasoning skills and gain the confidence required to work more independently.

Mathematics and science can appear difficult when important foundations are missing or when explanations are poorly adapted to the learner. With the right structure, guidance and practice, these subjects become far more logical, accessible and rewarding.

My goal is to restore confidence, explain things differently when necessary, and turn challenges into real successes. I primarily prepare students for the CE1D exam. First, we work together on each skill assessed during this test. Then, I support the student in putting all of these skills into practice so they can approach the exam in its entirety with confidence and method.
