I will be teaching mathematics to higher-achieving students, this will require lots of practice and homework as maths is best learned through practice and repetition, I am fully vaccinated and would prefer to teach in person. If a whiteboard is available that would also be ideal.

I am a University of Manchester student studying Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry. I’m happy to help you with your homework, questions you have, and/or topics you find difficult. If there’s nothing you’d want to go through then we can go through exam questions to see if there’s anything that you may need to improve on. Sessions will be usually an hour but I’m flexible on that. We can either go through topics individually or past papers, whatever works best for you. I can do biology chemistry and maths at GCSE (can do physics but I won’t be the best help) or A-level for biology chemistry and maths. I have tutored students across many different ages and academic levels.

I currently work at a Pupil Referral Unit in Salford as a KS1 teacher but also have experience teaching KS2. I specialise in teaching Grammar, punctuation and spelling in English. Hello My name is Matilda and I'm a Secondary Maths teacher in an outstanding school. Prior to teaching I have 7 years experience in education by being a high level maths teaching assistant and tutoring. I gained my secondary maths PGCE from Manchester metropolitan university and I also have a degree in Economics I have always believed there is more than one way to teach mathematics which is why I learn about the children and assess how they learn, which enables me to plan series of lessons that suit their needs. I am available for tutoring immediately. I usually start out by doing some standard questions in the first two sessions, but after I've picked up where my tutee may be struggling (or if they ask me for specific help) I make a personalised timetable of study - which usually includes a manageable amount of extra work. I am able to tutor Monday - Friday between 8am - 8pm. I can also accommodate weekend sessions if that suits. I look forward to helping you out!

I am a Biotechnology student at the University of Manchester. I have always been an exceptional student, specially in science-related subjects and languages. I obtained a honorific studies mention in Secondary Education and coursed both the Spanish A-levels equivalent and the IB. I have a 2 year experience tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths, Chemistry and Biology. In my classes, I usually start asking the student to solve a medium difficulty problem or exercise. This way I can check the concepts he or she does not understand and start explaining from that point on. I find problem-solving the best method as it makes students understand more than just memorize a way of solving the exercise, making them grow into more autonomous learners.
