Bonjour !
My name is Léa and I am french. I have been teaching French for 3 years now. Being fascinated by languages and by teaching, I make my French classes relevant and dynamic. I do my best to make my student comfortable and confident, because it is the best way to feel when learning something new.
I use a main document on which there are the main grammar points of the lesson and a few exercises. I add other documents like videos and written documents to make sure the student understands the lesson with authentic documents.
No pressure during my lessons, I am hear to answer your questions and to listen to my students making progress!

About Me
My name is Léa and I am a native professor of French language.
I studied applied languages, linguistics, as well as teaching French as a second language.
I also went to linguistic trips to improve my English level as much as I could.
I started teaching French and English as a volunteer when I was at university, and now I am teaching French to migrants as a volunteer, and I am also teaching French online as a freelancer.
My job is my passion, as I am fascinated by different languages and cultures. To me, it is always a pleasure to teach.
Education
I have a diploma in Linguistics, where I discovered new languages and culture facts through them, in applied languages and in teaching French as a second language, where I could practice my lessons to be sure it was made for students.

Thomas
General monitoring of homework by a medical student.

Hello my name is Thomas. I am currently in my 3rd year of medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Tours and have a Scientific Baccalaureate with honors, to which is associated a European English mention (philosophy option in English). I live in Tours-centre and do not have a car but can get around by bike / public transport. You can call on me to carry out a "global" follow-up of homework (accompanying students daily to do their homework, while taking the time to take up notions that may pose difficulties or deepen certain knowledge). I can also intervene for reinforcement in certain specific subjects (scientific or non-scientific), depending on the level requested. On the occasion of the courses that I can give, I also transmit many methodological advice / aids that I myself have been able to acquire during my career. I can thus intervene with students in order to make points on “methodology and organization of work”. I address students whose school level goes from primary to high school (see post-baccalaureate for the subjects present in the 1st year of medicine), depending on the different subjects. The hourly rate varies according to the school level of the student to be accompanied. I have a habit, during my lessons, of systematically going over the theoretical bases present in the students' lessons, in order to be able to carry out as many exercises as possible afterwards in the best conditions. I strive to adapt my approach according to the profile of the student presenting to me. My school career pushed me to be very organized and concise, which can be an asset in teaching. I have been able to give lessons to primary, middle and high school students on many occasions. I am also a tutor within several student associations of the faculty of medicine, and therefore provide courses to first-year medical students to help them in their preparation for their competition: I can thus attest to a great experience in the education. Do not hesitate to call on me if you wish, see you very soon, Thomas :) Nb: I remain available to answer any questions!!
