Private tutoring in Maths, Physics and Chemistry (in French)

From 24 £ /h

My name is Bérénice, I am 22 years old, and I offer private lessons in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in Paris.
Currently a student in Fundamental Physics at the Orsay Master's program in Fundamental Physics (Master 2 specializing in Microfluidics, jointly accredited with ESPCI), I wish to support students by sharing solid methods, knowledge, and study habits. I previously completed two years of preparatory classes (PTSI/PT*) after graduating from high school with honors in science.
I offer tutoring tailored to all levels, from middle school to high school, whether for review, catching up, or regular support to prepare for the Brevet or Baccalaureate exams. I also provide homework help for middle school students in all subjects. Lessons take place once or twice a week, depending on the student's needs and availability.
I have been teaching students from middle school to high school for 5 years now, and I have already helped several students overcome their difficulties and develop effective revision strategies.
Feel free to contact me for more information or to arrange a first lesson.

I teach mathematics, physics and chemistry from elementary to high school: I put much more emphasis on methodology and confidence building. This makes it easier for students to approach the material.

I support students throughout the year with personalized follow-up for each student: methodology, exam preparations, optimization and time management.

Homework help, revisions, preparation of revision sheets, exam corrections, personalized advice.

Depending on the level, the difficulties and the needs of my students, I set up a program to assess their progress. Some need more lessons to consolidate the basics while others master the course and they need more practice exercises. Once the students have mastered the course and the application exercises, we work through specific tests, self-confidence and time management, making it easier to tackle exams in class.
I have students who were below average and who have become good at the subject; others who were good but lacked confidence and subsequently became excellent.

I am available immediately for regular or punctual courses.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies.

I have a thorough knowledge of the mathematics curriculum for middle and high school (from 6th to 12th grade). I am also qualified to support students in preparing for international exams such as the SAT, the OMPT, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) in all its variations: Analysis and Approaches (AA SL/HL) and Applications and Interpretation (AI SL/HL).

Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. The strength of my teaching approach lies in my ability to explain, in simple terms, anything a student finds complicated. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. It is a true pleasure to see them progress and rediscover their connection with the fascinating world of mathematics.

I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.

Hello,
Previously a double degree student in computer science and mathematics at Sorbonne Paris Nord University (formerly Paris 13).
Student in applied mathematics engineering at ENSTA PARIS and ENSAE PARIS in double degree
I can give tutoring in mathematics so that in physics and chemistry, the main advantage of my classes is that they contain tips that improve the student's response to an exercise, a very good course that aims the essential without forgetting the important details, and a follow-up of the evolution of the student through the tests of progression and exercises since the exercises of application until the starry exercises.
Apart from my good teaching approach, I have great skills in mathematics and physics chemistry besides I am the first dz my class in mathematics in double license.
Through my private lessons I want not only to transmit my knowledge, but also the good methods and reflexes before tests or exercises.
Cordially.

When I was a young child, I believed I was not a mathematical person.

It wasn't until I met an amazing teacher at age 15 that I discovered my mathematical genius and my life was changed forever.

I'm eternally grateful to that teacher.

My teacher knew that self-image and self-belief is the key to unlocking your child's mathematical abilities.

Everyone is good at maths, but we all have different styles of thinking.

Bad teachers teach every child the same way.

My job is to find your child's style of mathematics and allow him to discover that for himself.

When he discovers that, he will begin to enjoy the beauty and power of mathematics...and then you will see as the grades begin to soar.

👉Click the blue "Contact Oliver" button above and let's discuss how we can unlock your child's mathematical talents! 😊

Struggling with math, physics, or chemistry? You're not alone — these subjects are hard, and classroom explanations are rarely enough.
I offer personalized tutoring for middle school, high school, and early university students following the French Mission curriculum, the Moroccan national curriculum, or the international baccalaureate.
Topics covered:

Mathematics: algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, probability
Physics: mechanics, electricity, optics, thermodynamics
Chemistry: organic, inorganic, stoichiometry, reactions

My approach:
I don't re-explain the textbook — I identify exactly where your understanding breaks down and fix it from there. Each session is built around your specific difficulties, not a preset program.
I completed CPGE (Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles) in Mathematics and Physics before graduating as a State Engineer — I know these subjects at an advanced level and I know where students typically get lost.
Individual and small group sessions available. Online (worldwide) in French, Arabic, or English.

Currently a third-year engineering student at ESILV after a preparatory class in Mathematics and Physics, I offer private lessons tailored to the needs of each student.
I can tutor middle school and high school students in mathematics, physics, computer science, as well as history, French, philosophy, and Spanish. I also offer advanced courses in mathematics, physics, and computer science.

My teaching method is based on a structured and proven approach, which I developed and refined during the private lessons I gave in preparatory classes.
First session: reading and understanding the lesson, creating a summary sheet, application exercises, then exercises to do for the next session.
Subsequent sessions: quick oral review based on the completed worksheet, detailed correction of exercises and further exploration of key concepts.
This method allows the student to consolidate their foundations, gain rigor and autonomy, while progressing effectively.

I am Kathirvele. Having completed a solid academic program in preparatory classes for the Grandes Écoles and then in engineering school, I have a rigorous mastery of mathematics programs, from middle school to higher education.

Being young, he connects naturally with the students. There isn't the rigid barrier of authority that one sometimes finds in the classroom:

- A climate of trust and exchange: The student dares to ask all their questions, without fear of being judged or making a mistake.
- An excellent understanding of their obstacles: Having recently gone through these exams, I know exactly the concrete difficulties of middle school, high school and higher education, as well as the pace of work they face.
- Clear and accessible language: I simplify abstract concepts with simple and relatable examples.

Specifically, what we are working on:

- Diagnosis & foundations: Immediately identify methodological flaws or accumulated gaps in order to start again on solid foundations.
- Rigor & Writing: Show how to structure an argument and write to obtain the maximum points from the examiners.

Intensive exam preparation:

- Diploma / Baccalaureate / BTS, Bachelor's degree or Licence

My goal: to transform mathematics into an understandable subject and to restore to the student a real confidence in their abilities.

Whether you need to catch up, calmly prepare for an exam or aim for a distinction, each session is fully personalized to achieve your goals.
