On my journey of becoming a better bass player and musician I realized that everyone is learning in a different way, so I adjust my teachings to each individual student. Hi! I'm Jeff, bassist in Amsterdam, and currently in my final phase at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. As a bassist, I've been playing in diverse settings with different styles of music. Every genre of music knows a bassline, and I proudly take on that role with my bassguitar, double bass or synth-bass. I'm a bassist who gladly shares his love and passion for music with anyone that would like to learn. Sound and groove are the most important tools a bassist can have. In other words: it sounds good, and it feels good. I approach the instrument as a hybrid between double bass and guitar, which opens new doors when the two worlds meet. During the lessons I happily share my knowledge and enthousiasm for the bass, and create a lesson plan based off the student's goals. Whether those are ambitions for the big stage, playing along to their favourite songs, leveling up their playing skills, or helping them getting started! Let's make some music!

7 meter sailboat, 3 to 4 hour lesson (Motor out of harbor Ijburg, sail on the Markermeer, return to harbor). Schedule to be confirmed 48 hours in advance dependent on weather conditions. Instructure is RYA certified coastal skipper. Lifejacket provided. 1 or 2 people (price listed is total for the four hours or less). Prerequisites: Ability to swim, physical agility. No sailing experience needed.
