After having followed a bilingual education in Alsace and having passed my Sprachdiplom Stufe C1, I spent my first two years of law studies in Germany in Potsdam (near Berlin), which allowed me to improve my skills in language.
I have a lot of affection for this language which I find magnificent despite the clichés that are stuck to it and would be delighted to be able to help someone in their learning.
I have experience with children and tutoring, and am quite flexible in terms of schedules as long as my college schedule allows.

Help with homework or believe in English.
My name is Marie, I have been fluent in English for many years, would like to let you know this pleasure too!
I followed a schooling with option "Intensive English" with native Americans, maintained during 2 years a correspondence by Skype with an American friend, and practiced English daily within the framework of the music and my international studies. I also took American law courses for 2 years with an American lawyer.
I can help you with your school homework, just talk to you so that you can practice the language or give lessons, often from English texts or books that seem relevant to me given the level of the student. I can travel within the limit of my hourly availability or we can set schedules by webcam (skype, zoom, Teams or other).
I want to help you in enthusiasm and good humor, in being a friend with whom you will laugh without working, nor the strict teacher with whom you will not necessarily be able to learn in the way that suits you best. See you soon!

I offer instrument lessons (instruments combined if beginner, violin-viola or violin if intermediate-advanced level) or music theory / education. I can also just teach you how to practice the instrument effectively outside of class, which is usually difficult but sometimes it helps a lot to have some keys to get by.
I took courses at the conservatory with regional influence in Strasbourg from my 6 to my 18 years old, including 12 years of instrument and 10 years of orchestra, chamber music and 8 years of music theory during which I spent my musical education diploma as well as my instrument diploma at the end of the 3rd cycle in the instrument. I have also followed many masterclasses and internships as well as been under the direction of many chefs in the context of paid projects. I also had the opportunity to give some instrument lessons as part of replacements in music school. I also specialized in baroque music and choral singing.
My teaching instrument is the violin-viola but insofar as the instrumental technique is quite similar to that of the violin for the beginning of the training, I also propose to help beginner violinists. I can also help in music theory or even in choral singing.

Jeanne
My name is Jeanne, 2nd year student at the London School of Economics (LES) in Geography and Economics. I am currently based in France due to the covid situation.

Bilingual but originally French, I lived in the UK for three years in my childhood, before joining an international school when back in France. I then pursued my studies in the UK. I obtained the highest honors in my French baccalaureate with international option (OIB, mention TB). I, therefore, speak English and French fluently and have always enjoyed taking and teaching the languages.

I have throughout the years used my fluency in both languages to teach children. I have joined the 'tutoring London' team this year, tutoring UK natives in advanced French. I particularly helped a family whose children wished to join the French primary school in London. They had the French basics but needed to be more fluent, I, therefore, helped them reach the respective levels of French required to join classes in each age group (CE2, CE1 and GS). When I was in France, I tutored children in English, teaching them the basics of the language. Despite not having an official teaching diploma, I passed my OIB Baccalaureate mention TB, and obtained the highest score at the TEOFL, which proves my fluency.

I am therefore used to both help out with homework, and deliver prepared language classes. I enjoy teaching and seeing my students better themselves throughout classes. I start my classes depending on the requirements of the child, to try and meet the day's expectations. I do not hesitate to spend a lot of time on particular topics if the child is finding it difficult. Always listening to the child, I acknowledge there are days where desire and attention might be lesser than usual. I often use PowerPoint to have coherent class support. Aligning a theoretical class followed by exercises, I try to be demanding but fun, so as not to lose the student. I often review the notions studied previously at the beginning of the next class, so as to see if the student has remembered what he has been taught. I have also given a lot of babysitting, and I think my young age, my energy and my experience with children make it easier for me to understand them and teach in a fun but rigorous manner.
