I am an experienced, qualified, English teacher with a BA Degree in "Linguistics” and Minor in «Business Studies» from Concordia University in Montreal and “Teaching Foreign Languages to students with Dyslexia” from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Complementary Education Program.
I have been teaching English for eight years and I can prepare students for their ECCE and ECPE exams.

This class is for foreigners living in Athens, Greece, that want to learn the basics (and more) of the Greek language for various reasons like business, curiosity to explore the greek language, communicating better with loved ones etc.. You will learn how to understand, listen, read and speak this complicated yet interesting and historic language. I focus a lot on the greek pronunciation and grammar, since those are the sections most foreigners struggle with.
Along with the language, you will also learn many ancient greek words, because the modern greek language derives from the ancient greek and the grammar is closely related to it. Last but not least, you will be teached some things about the greek culture and history and if asked, you could learn about greek urban dictionary.
I started gaining experience by volunteeringly teaching it to my foreign friends and to refugees since I was 16 years old. Moreover, the fact that I took many language classes growing up ( french, japanese, spanish, english), and still do, helped me learn new patterns from my teachers and apply them in my classes.

Learning a language is like learning how to ride a bike. The first steps are the hardest and need much guiding. There are a lot of stepping stones and ways to fall. Later on it becomes easier, but on the other hand the language grows and the opportunities of use are widening. I offer German and English classes for beginners and advanced students.
Furthermore I offer classes in Philosophy in both languages to deepen the language and deepen the knowledge and use of the given language.
