About Me

I’m a 31-year-old English teacher from Ukraine. I’ve been teaching for 14 years both in Ukraine and in France (France: more than 5 years). I have experience in tutoring and in teaching groups of various ages and levels.
I’m currently teaching English in a private school in France (levels Pre A1-C1).
I like finding individual approaches to suit my students’ needs and nothing motivates me more than a highly motivated, hardworking and interested in English student as well as seeing them progress and achieve their goals.

Education

In 2013 I graduated from Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University where I obtained my Master’s degree in English and teaching. In 2017 my diplomas were recognized and accepted in France (Master’s degree as well).

Experience / Qualifications

I began to work as a tutor at the age of 17, shortly after having entered the university. I worked with children, teenagers and adults. After having graduated from the university I worked at school (middle school and high school). In France, I work in primary school, middle school, high school, preparatory classes and with adults.

I am Sophie, an English trainer for 10 years, after a Master 2, teaching experiences in schools, in professional training in English then within Scooleo, my micro-enterprise for English lessons for individuals and mini groups of children from 3 years old. I am still an independent language trainer (French as a foreign language and English) and I am available for courses in video and FàF in Valenciennes?

I am a very dynamic person, attentive and passionate about English, who knows how to adapt to your different profiles.

I offer fun workshops in English for children from 3 years old, in groups of 4 maximum in Valenciennes. The method used has been tested and approved for 3 years by many children: learning while having fun, in a natural, playful and above all spontaneous way. All environment, games, objects, songs etc. are all varied media that allow you to become familiar with English and acquire the basics naturally, by listening, repeating and communicating in the target language.
