I am offering French tutoring for all levels and all ages. I studied french throughout my academic life and then I spent a year working as an au pair in France. I would like to used my advanced knowledge of spoken and written French by helping other people learn this great language! I studied GCSE and A-Level French before taking a C1 course and therefore I could assist with exam preparation.
Whilst I was an au pair,I taught an English conversation class in Paris and I would like to continue this with new students on line.

About Me

I am a music graduate with a first class Bachelor’s degree from The University of Manchester. By the age of 16, I had achieved ABRSM Grade 8 Flute, Piano and Singing and since then I have had extensive practical and theoretical musical training. During my studies, I taught 12 weekly students between ages 5-16. I have lots of experience working with children but I would happily welcome adult students as well.

I worked as an au pair in France for a year after university. I studied French alongside my music degree and following my year as an au pair, I have achieved an advanced level of spoken and written French (C1). I am therefore offering French tutoring from beginner to A-Level. Whilst working as an au pair, I taught an English conversation class in Paris and I would be very happy to offer the same service to anyone who wishes to practice their English.

I am a music graduate offering private piano, flute and music theory lessons. I have a first class Bachelor of Music from Manchester University and I have extensive practical experience playing flute and piano. I am a highly experienced teacher for children between ages 5-16 and I would happily accept adult students as well. I would welcome flute students from beginner to grade 8 and piano and music theory students from beginner to grade 5.

This class is for children & adults wanting to improve their Maths and English skills, knowledge and understanding.

I am a qualified teacher with 5 years experience in British and International Schools. My goal for every lesson is to ensure learning is engaging, fun and challenging.

Each week a task will be set to consolidate the learning of that session, which will link into the next class.

I can provide tutoring to help those needing extra support in general or for exams (e.g. SATS, GCSE'S, A Levels). I am also able to provide support in grammar and written work.

Having taken Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-level and English for GCSE, I tutored students at my school to help them understand difficult concepts during term time and prep them for Summer external exams. I am also happy to tutor pre-GCSE students to help them solidify their knowledge before exam years.

After completing my BA Hons Primary Education degree in 2013, I have taught across Key Stage One and Two on a permanent basis. Meanwhile, I have gained experience in tutoring children from early years up to year 6 in a range of areas. From phonics to SATs preparation to 11+ entrance exams, I'll do my best to boost your child's confidence.

I believe that children should develop a love for learning and enjoy exploring the National Curriculum, within what should be a naturally creative environment. All children that I work with have commented on my `bubbly` and `fun` personality, thus making lessons enjoyable. Key skills are developed in ways that are both traditional and contemporary. For example, learning the skills of addition through teacher led modelling and application before being reinforced through games.

I am passionate about working with children of all ages, ensuring that they make the progress which is perfect for their ability rather than the `age expected progress`. This might be too ambitious or not challenging enough, therefore lessons must be (and will be) customised for each individual.

I am a qualified teacher that has primarily taught KS1 children. I have been a class teacher in both year 1 and year 2, as well as having been trained in KS2 also. In my previous teaching role I planned all maths and phonics lessons for my year group, having a high understanding of progression throughout the subjects.
I specialise in early reading (phonics) and maths, but also have a wealth of knowledge in English.
