I am a native speaker of French who loves learning other languages and understanding other cultures. My experience in learning other languages as an adult helps me empathise with my students’ difficulties, and I find that knowledge of other languages’ structures and vocabulary allows me to better guide speakers of those languages through the differences they find with French.

I take communication courses. During the course I will of course be required to correct grammar and conjugation errors and help fill in vocabulary gaps.
I will lead the student to try to maintain a fluid discussion. It's by practicing that we learn :D!
I would also suggest some written exercises. However, the student must be able to speak at least English so that we can communicate if necessary.
However, in my course we will maximize the time spent speaking in French.
