If you would like a session to brush up on your skills we can discuss what that is and go from there.

If you are wanting monologue help for drama school auditions we will look at both or one of your speech options, breaking it down to get to the bottom of what the character wants from the speech; why they’re needing to say this monologue and their relationship with who they’re talking to/about. This and many other things. Being on the audition panel for Rose Bruford for 3 years I feel I am a great source to help you on your way to get into drama school!

About Me
I am a professional actor having just finished a national tour playing the title role in a production of ‘Jane Eyre’.

I have been on the audition panel at Rose Bruford for three years so feel I have a wealth of knowledge to be able to steer you in the right direction to make sure your monologue choices hit the spot and get you a place at drama school!

I have a wide knowledge of speeches as I worked at the Samuel French bookshop for many years, so can guide you if you are stuck with what monologues to go for! Including the knowledge of those that are over done!

For the much younger generation I have worked with children across all ages for over a decade so whatever their performing needs you can trust in me I will deliver!

You already know a lot more about economics than you might imagine. Each day, you make economic decisions, such as choosing between two teachers at Apprentus. You also come to class with years of experience in Economic matters. If you are in the UK and are 14+ years old, you might have worked part-time before and therefore supplied your labour. Supply of labour is an important concept that you might have heard of or learnt about. Do not worry if it is new to you - you may study it if you take this class. But as you may have realized, it is something related to work, so if you have worked before, you know it already.

Given students' prior experiences, I teach through examples that draw on these experiences. These examples build bridges from the familiar to the unfamiliar. Through this approach to teaching, I became one of the sought-after Economics tutors in my previous schools, where I worked with students at Key Stages 4 and 5, fostering in them a love for Economics.

I bring a well-rounded understanding of AQA AS/A level and GCSE Economics Specifications and familiarity with the following textbooks:

1. Powell, James., Powell, Ray., & Horner, David. (2023). AQA A-Level Economics (5th ed.). Hodder Education Group (AQA Approved)

2. McEachern, W. A. . (2006). Economics: a contemporary introduction (7th ed.). Thomson/South-Western.

Though the course is designed to help learners studying AQA GCSE or A Level Economics, it is appropriate for learners studying other specifications such as ORC Economics and all lovers of the subjects.
