The Italian language is known as one of the most romantic in the world. As for the culture, its countless facets make it so interesting yet so hard to truly understand without the right guide.
That's why I'm offering some Italian classes to those people who look forward to discovering more about Italy. I will mainly focus on the language and its correct use, explaining grammar and syntax with many examples and always trying to introduce some culture-related elements.
This course is meant to be addressed to students at any level. According to your requests, I will teach you how to communicate in real life situations, starting from how to meet your most basic needs, to how to have long and complex conversations with natives, how to debate efficiently in order to prove your point, how to express your thoughts and feelings in the most accurate way.

About Me

Hi everyone :)
My name is Valentina, I'm a 24-year-old Italian girl who's studying in order to become a translator in this big big world. I'm a cheerful and positive girl, always trying to look at the silver linings of situations. I'm deeply convinced that there are no bad students, but just students who haven't found the teaching method that's right for them yet!
I've been into foreign languages since I was a child: as soon as I realized knowing them could have helped me to communicate with people from different countries and to access to whole new cultures, I wanted to know more and more!
As for teaching, I always adopt what I like calling the "ad hoc method", specifically designed for the interests and the needs of the student. I usually organize my classes starting from the student's doubts and questions. Once solved, I give explanations about grammar, syntax and vocabulary, making as many real life-related examples as I can and sharing some of the hacks I came up with during my studying career.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Intercultural Linguistic Mediation at Bologna University in 2020, where a focused my studies on interpretation and translation in French, English and Chinese.
Now I'm a Master student at Macerata University, my major is Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation.

To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.
