Hello everyone! Ciao a tutti!

My name is Gianluca, but you can also call me Gian (it is pronounced as the english name John, but with an open "a" sound instead of the "o".
I am 31 years old, I am a native Italian speaker and i have a strong passion for travels. I graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in 2014, worked in big multinational companies, and after 6 years i decided to quit my job to realize my dream: travel around the world.
I want to know as much as possible new cultures, languages, people with different mentality.

I am willing to teach my native language, Italian, to people from all ages. But i'd love also to share with my students about italian culture. I can also teach English, language that i learned working with people from France, Germany, UK, US, Japan, China, India and Brazil, and later on traveling (i visited more than 35 countries around the world).

The duration could be 60, 90 or 120 minutes, is up to you. Since i'm still moving and not living in a fix place, i'm offering only webcam lessons.

My hobbies, in addition to traveling, are sports (i practiced football for many years, running, swimming, crossfit and cycling), photography, reading books and listening to music.

Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. The SAT is a landmark exam for many high school students. A good exam score can be instrumental in college admissions. This course is designed to provide students with resources to set a goal score, make a study plan, and feel confident on test day. I got a 1530 on my most recent SAT, and I am dedicated to uplifting students to and beyond that score.
I can help specifically with the English and Math multiple choice parts of the exam. With students I will cover both content, the information being tested on the exam, and testing strategies, how to more efficiently and effectively take the test. The essay portion of the SAT has mostly been discontinued, so I don't cover it when tutoring for the exam.
