About Me

I am a Master's graduate from University of Sussex in Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management. I am currently working as a Demand Planner at Clarins UK, which is in the same field of supply chain.

I am originally from Bangladesh where I completed my Bachelor's in Business Administration in Supply chain management. I have however lived in Birmingham with my family and studied Year 6 to 8 at the time before going back home.
I am very passionate about my subject and I believe we all should be in what we choose to do.

Being an expressive person, I enjoy a good conversation and value the importance of communication in all forms, be it speaking, writing or the body language we use to express ourselves. I have maintained a journal from the age of 10 and have been writing ever since on my thoughts, ideas and on various topics that interest me.

I love teaching and the idea of sharing my knowledge with others makes me feel fulfilled as a person. It's a great way to help my own growth too. I have taught students of 'Ordinary and Advanced' level Maths, English Language and Economics and I can proudly say that my students have all been fond of my process of teaching as I like to implement effective techniques to prepare you for your syllabus in a way that you remember the topic even in the long-run.

Its not about memorising with me, I believe one should understand the concept first as that is the tool to learn things with ease. That way, no new topics would be a problem as you have mastered the main process of how it works. That is how I have learnt myself and would love to pass that on to others.

My methodology: Learning to structure one's thoughts to express oneself better
My approach is based on a simple observation: success is not achieved through lack of effort, but often through a lack of method and confidence. My role is to transform subjects sometimes perceived as abstract (Philosophy, French) or intimidating (English) into concrete tools for success.

The typical course of a session:
1. Quick diagnosis: We start by identifying the areas of uncertainty from the previous lesson or the difficulties with a specific exercise.
2. Taking action: No boring lectures! We work on concrete exercises, essay plans or oral practice (in English) to "learn by doing".
3. The "Montreal Method": Having worked for two and a half years in Quebec, I use a North American pedagogy that is very focused on encouragement, clear structure and student autonomy.
4. Summary & Objectives: We end each session with a recap of the key points so that the student knows exactly what to revise.
