Hi! I am Nicola. I am 31 years old. I am a friendly and communicative PGCE qualified English teacher (University of York) and CELTA tutor with an additional three year work experience in teaching kindergarten. I have been teaching English in multiple settings for the past 11 years.
I have taught English in nurseries, kindergartens, foreign language schools to students aged 3-40 years old. I am particularly comfortable teaching young learners (3-6 years old), children, teenagers as well as preparing adults for exams, such as the IELTS. I have taught as a TEFL teacher online, in Britain in international summer schools, as well as in Greece in foreign language schools, nurseries and through private lessons. I have worked with students from all over the world on an everyday basis. I have been teaching English as a secondary school (high school) teacher in Britain for the past 3 years, preparing students for their GCSEs.
I have a BA in English Language and Literature, an MA in English Literature from the University of Nottingham, a Postgraduate Diploma in Scottish Studies from the University of Edinburgh and I am currently a PhD student at the University of Sheffield.
