Did you know that after Chinese -which is spoken mostly in China- , Spanish is the most widely spoken language in the world? Therefore, if you speak Spanish and/or English, you can communicate everywhere in the world. I have been a (Certified) Language Teacher all my life. I know how to deal with small children as well as adults and seniors. I am a senior myself! Adults believe they "can't" learn a new language or skill because the brain is no longer "flexible". Nothing farther from the truth: Learning keeps your head fresh and lively, and it is a joy to realise you don't really grow old unless you give up on interest, curiosity and learning. I teach all levels and also coach for Cambridge English Exams. As a Spanish speaker I teach elementary and intermediate levels. Oral skills such as fluency, pronounciation and intonation are the best tools for real communication.

About Me

I am an experienced Teacher of many years. I have always loved teaching and tutoring all ages. It is greatly satisfying to watch my students achieve their learning goals. I have worked large groups as well as individual lessons with great passion. Younger students are a challenge in one specific sense: nowadays they find it difficult to concentrate. Technology is a marvelous tool as well as a nasty distractor, if you don't know the limits. Children used to read more, to keep a quiet mind while studying. Instead, teachers nowadays believe they must become entertainers instead of instructors. It is possible to keep interest and offer good quality teaching at the same time. All you need is experience, insight, resources and a good amount of common sense. That is... ME!! And as for adults, well, if you want to learn a new language, think about this question: Do you think exposure to images, words and events take too long to become part of you?
