Hi :) My name is Sarah and I'm a Native English speaker from New York. I've been living in Europe for some time now, predominantly in Poland where I worked as an English teacher for various private clients from different age groups (from kids aged 6-12 to adults). Apart from Central Europe, I've finished my Bachelor's degree education in England where I worked as an English editor and copywriter alongside my studies. Now I'm excited to explore Denmark while I'm here for my further studies and look forward to finding some bright and interesting students to tutor in the language I love to teach! The structure of my classes is largely dependent on what the student wishes to focus on - if you're looking to improve your grammatical skills, brush up on your written English, or simply looking forward for a chance to train your conversation abilities - I'm happy to help! The most important thing for me is to allow my students to feel more comfortable with using the English language and the best way to do that is to ensure you feel you are learning and excelling in areas that are most important to you. MY APPROACH

I know what it's like to learn a new language and I know just how scary it can be to open your mouth to try and speak it.

I will provide a safe space, free of criticism or embarrassment, to help you overcome your fears of learning this VITAL world language. The English language can really be your passport to the world :-)

The time it takes to learn English is different for different people, but the statistics show that the more you hear the language and the sooner you start speaking it - even if it's slow and difficult at first - the faster you will learn.

My job is not to explain complex rules and grammar to you. You can learn those online or in a school.

I'm here to get you speaking and listening, so that you train your ears and your mouth in English. And over time, bit by bit, I will also help you to speak more accurately.

Luckily for you, because English is spoken so widely, native English speakers are quite used to hearing English spoken incorrectly. So there's really no need to stress too much about your little errors in grammar or pronunciation.

Student at ESCP after 3 years of preparatory class at the Lycée Henri IV in Paris (in the B/L stream, i.e. Letters and Social Sciences), I offer to accompany your children during their middle and high school years. Holder of a scientific baccalaureate and a degree in Mathematics from the Sorbonne validated in 2022 and equipped with a literary background thanks to the B/L, I am able to follow your children on very varied subjects and I want to share all the theoretical knowledge that I have been able to acquire and my taste for learning with any student in difficulty to whom I could help.

A patient, attentive teacher, I adapt to the needs of each student to help them progress as best as possible. I myself have made enormous progress in CPGE. I have gained in rigor and efficiency in 3 years and I would like to share both my working method and my rigor with my students.

Typical math courses for example:

- I start the lesson by asking the student questions to identify his main difficulties and I answer any questions he may have.

- I then suggest several standard exercises to him to then make a method sheet and identify precisely what are the steps to follow when faced with this or that type of exercise.

- Finally, I offer him more complex exercises so that he learns to cultivate his intuition in the face of a mathematical exercise.

Of course, this is only a typical process, I adapt to the needs and wishes of the student, a course is above all a dialogue. The main thing is that the student feels as comfortable as possible to ask all the questions that come to him and gain confidence!
