I was born in a francophone family and studied for eleven years in a french high school. Later, I studied in the french-portuguese institute, in which I was awarded with the first prize. I gave particular lessons to people of all ages and schoolar degrees, and gave lessons in primary and preparatory schools. I have a deep love for the french language, and a real pleasure in teaching it. The lessons are oral (via webcam), and are about conversation, expression and pronunciation, following the themes proposed by the students. I can also help in particular tasks, like an iminent visit to france or the filling of forms (contact with a school, etc.).
Extra information
Poems, lyrics of songs and various texts will be provided to enrich the lessons.

Graduated in Professional Actor Training Course at Centro Cultural de Évora.
Attended Arco Pintura e Desenho (Arc, Painting, Sketching).
In 1996 is granted a museology scholarship by Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. I then took part in a 6 months-long internship at Museu Nacional da Marioneta, based in Lyon - France, focusing on the subject “A Abordagem da Crianças Deficiente Através da Marioneta” (Disabled children’s take on Puppetry).

1979: Works in pottery, tiles and metal based projects at Escola António Arroio (António Arroio school).


1982: Joins a group art exhibit, which took place at Árvores da Alameda Afonso Henriques, Lisbon.


1983-1984: Exhibits wooden carrousels, manufactured toys and other pieces on her own at Feira de S. João (St. John's Fair), Évora.


1986: Works on her own painting and sculpture exhibit named “A Consciência do Moment (“The Consciousness of Now”) at Gesto Arte Gallery, Évora.


Is chosen to work on an exhibit at Centro da Pedra, Évora, while on a sculpture contest ran by João Cutileiro.


1990-1991: Attends the first year of Arc painting, while taking on sketching and model sketching classes.
Works on her own painting e xhibit at Botequim, having Natália Correia attending the mentioned exhibition.

Conceptualizes and works on the front cover for “Ideafix”, a record which ws named after a Jazz Band, published by Miso Records.

Works on a catalogue and poster for an AIDS campaign held by Câmara Municipal da Amadora.


1992: Adds one of her own paintings to Bienal do Seixal exhibit.


Adds both a painting and a sculpture of her own to a group exhibit named “Do Caos à Meta-psicologia” (“From Caos to Metapsychology”), which is also relevant segment of a lecture based in Faculdade da Psicologia (College of Psychology).


1993: Group exhibit on the subject “Caos and Metapsychology” at Galerias Catacumbas, Lisbon.
Had her own exhibit named “Amor” (“Love”), in which she has presented pieces made out of beech-trunk, having Natália Correia attending the mentioned exhibition.


1994: Had her own exhibit at Galeria Casa Amarela, having had pieces ordered by architect José Alves.


1995: Group exhibit at Galerias do Estoril.


1997: Had her own exhibit named “Como em Esparta” (“As in Sparta”) at her place in Colares.


2000/ 2008: Works on an instalment of “Conversas filosóficas num fim de tarde” (“Debating on philosophy by the afternoon”) for Câmara Municipal de Cascais.


Works on several design, scenography related projects as well as painting workshops for children under the tutelance of the Education Department of the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum.


2001/ 2009 : Turns her home into her own, personal studio and gallery, where she proceeds with her everyday work on painting and sculpting.

Worked on costume and fabric painting for Camerata Fiorentina.

Dramatic Arts:

1983-1986: After joining the acting crew at Centro Cultural de Évora, she was offered several relevant roles in such plays as “O Segundo Marinheiro” (Francisco José Viegas), a Mário Barradas production, “Woyzech” (Georg Buchner), produced by Luís Varela, “A Escola de Mulheres” (Moliére), also produced by the latter, “Joana na Fogueira” (Paul Claudel), a Valentim Lemos production, and others.


1985: Is granted an acting job in the movie “Vertiges”, directed by Christine Laurent.


1986-1988: Is offered the job of coordinator by Centro Cultural de Évora, which had her working on dramatic acting studios across several schools within the county.


1988-2005: Works at RTP1 as a narrator for children’s short stories, which were penned by Maria Alberta Meneres.
Works on French-Portuguese movie tie-ins.

Declaims poetry at Teatro da Trindade alongside Manual Lindley Cintra.

As a member of the acting crew at Teatro de Marionetas de S. Lourenço, she’s invited to play Auto da Índia (Gil Vicente) at Fórum Picoas.

Directs a play written by senior students at S. João do Estoril high.

Directed puppetry-based shows alongisde “Assim são os Olhos do Meu Coração” at Quinta de Bicuda, Cascais.

Museology:

1988-1994: Joins Museu Nacional da Marioneta, wich was ran by Helena Guedes Vaz, as a supervisor, having had around thirty thousand visitors per year across all ages. During that time, she’s happens to study puppetry in detail as well as its social, spiritual and pedagogical impact.
Also, she worked with patients who suffered from mental hilliness, as well as senior citizens, at both Hospital Miguel Bombarda and Hospital Júlio de Matos


1990: Jump starts Évora’s Centro de Iniciação Ambiente, alongside the Liga para a Protecção da Natureza, where she ran a workshop for children, topped with two puppetry shows which were presented by attendees.


1994: Takes on some projects at Função Social do Museu, conceptualized by MINON – Mouvement Internacional pour une nouvelle Museologie.


1996: Is granted a scholarship in Museology by Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian.
Takes on education and culture bound projects at Cascais.

1994-2007: Joins Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães’ education services as a supervisor, while she furthers her pedagogical work (previously developed at Centro Cultural de Évora and Museu Nacional da Marioneta).

At first I will need to evaluate the actual level of the student on the first session through basic linguistic tests.
As a matter of coherence and accuracy for the construction of the program, it would be recommended for the student to bring his own school lessons and exercises. This way, if a class is already followed in school it will be directly sustained and completed through this tutorship.
To truly fulfill the objective of a durable progress, it is recommended to maintain, as possible, regularity and constancy in attending to the teaching sessions.
The sessions will take place entirely in the studied language to encourage immersion, I would however clarify that there is no specific requirements to attend the tutorship. The point here is to offer support outside of any selective dynamics.

Olá, sou o Corentin, venho dos arredores de Paris e vou começar a viver em Lisboa a partir de setembro. Estou direcionado para ensinar a minha língua materna, porque valorizo muito o poder de compreender as palavras e ver o mundo através de línguas diferentes. Tive a ocasião de aprender várias línguas quando fui estudar para Paris, e apercebi-me que na verdade não é assim tão difícil aprender como a escola muitas vezes nos faz pensar. É por isso que me disponho a ensinar. Adoro partilhar conhecimento e tiro prazer de poder dar as mesmas ferramentas que me foram dadas a mim, não só para aprender francês, mas sim qualquer idioma. O meu objetivo é providenciar estes momentos de aprendizagem até que se dê o fenômeno bonito de fazeres esta língua tua.
