Hello! My name is Eun Young. I was born and raised in South Korea. I'm a native Korean speaker and have been teaching Korean for over 8 years as a freelancer. This class is for elementary-aged students who already have an excellent level of English. The core material is a novel which we read together. Each students gets at least one chance per lesson to read aloud for the class from the book. We also learn to sing one song per week and read one poem per week which is related to the story. My teaching approach follows a clear progression:
understand → hear → pronounce → read → use → write → analyze → communicate independently

I do not teach Arabic as a disconnected collection of vocabulary lists and grammar rules. I connect language structure to meaningful texts, conversation, writing, and real communication. Depending on the learner’s age and level, lessons may include guided dialogues, fully vocalized texts, visual explanations, reading passages, grammar analysis, structured exercises, dictation, storytelling, writing tasks, and personalized practice.

We can work with your school curriculum, university course, textbook, reading difficulties, grammar questions, writing samples, professional objectives, heritage-language needs, or personal learning goals.

Whether you are learning your first Arabic letters, improving conversation, strengthening reading, mastering grammar, developing academic writing, or reconnecting with Arabic as a heritage language, I will adapt the sessions to your level, objectives, pace, and preferred learning style.
