About Me

I love studying languages and I love when this process is interesting. When I am studying a language, I try to make it a process, which my brain will enjoy and learn the language by associations, emotional links, and, of course, by making a use of it. All I do for myself as a language learner, I project onto my lessons to make them enjoyable for my students as well. I believe grammar is an essential part of any language, but learning it by heart is almost a lost cause. Grammar should be learned through conversation by making it an integral part of your communication and feeling it. The rules do nothing if you don't feel and speak it. I give the biggest importance to speaking, but I also provide many other kinds of materials and exercises to make the lessons all-round and engaging.

Education

I earned my Bachelor of Laws (majoring in the criminal code of Russia) from Moscow Polytech (Moscow, Russia) in 2017. I am currently interested in languages, and I am planning to apply to study linguistics at the university.

I have 2 years of experience as a language tutor. My previous background is related to human rights activism and civic control in Russia and post-Soviet countries.

Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing.
I try to make my lessons as interacting as possible. The lessons and exercises will be provided through PowerPoint presentations. I try to listen to my student in order to prepare the lesson plan together, according to his needs and preferences.
