About Me
A true class should leave you with a new experience you couldn't find anywhere else.Words carry us, our culture and tradition, through language. They can be tasteless or tasteful, sound like poetry or a wrecked car, make us feel in Heaven or Hell. This is why we should always learn languages hand in hand with its peoples' history. This is what I care about, I want to teach Spanish in a way people can find its beauty and enjoy its diversity.
Are you a visual learner? Logical learner? Any other type of learner? My classes suit your needs and your own process of learning. You can start by taking a class, where we can figure out the course that will work better for you. Maybe you want to take the fun path, or maybe you want the methodical path that will get you through a DELE test. It is all acceptable.
I do not think everyone needs grammar to speak a new language, but I also believe one should not look at grammar with an ill heart. It should not be something to learn as hard inflexible rules, for it actually is what explains the mystery of how a language came to life and keeps breathing.
Through my Spanish classes, I want to give something that people won't forget and that it's about life itself rather than just empty information. I can talk endlessly about literature, art, films, words, etc. And it's always ok to not say things correctly, I understand we are all always learning and will never judge, only teach how to say it better.
Education
Graduated in Letters in the Universidad Central de Venezuela. Focused on Latin American and Hispanic literature, as well as Spanish grammar and dialectal diversities.ELE certificate (teaching Spanish as a foreign language).
Fluent in English.
Experience / Qualifications
5 years of studies in Spanish linguistics and literature.Spanish teacher with ELE certificate.
3 years of online classes experience.
Learning Spanish is a very useful tool, the knowledge that Spanish and Hispanic culture will offer you is invaluable. You will be able to find great job opportunities and widen your career's possibilities; travel the world and talk to many different people; learn something beautiful and be a part of this world's diversity.
In this class, you will begin to learn Spanish with many useful tools so it doesn't become overwhelming. This a very complete and competitive course where you will learn how to say simple sentences, verb tenses (present, past, and future), adjectives, adverbs, questions (why, what, where, how), and other useful tools like asking for prices and directions. You will also learn many interesting facts that will help you learn better and faster, like why does Spanish sound the way it does, where does it come from and what are the secrets behind its words.
There are a lot of reasons to learn a new language: being able to communicate better with people from different cultures; new job options; acquiring new knowledge; being able to read and watch movies in another language, and so on. Culture and tradition are what makes us rich. Being able to learn from a new one is a beautiful thing.
Spanish is spoken in 21 different countries, imagine the possibilities that come with this language. There's so much literature, history, traditions, music, comedy, words, and words to learn. In this class, I am going to focus on teaching you this side of Spanish, the one that makes it fun, beautiful, and diverse. I will teach you about our tradition in Arts, literature, filmography, and music. Also about how politics have worked through our history, and how history has shaped us as people. I will talk about how diverse our dialects and words can be, teaching you our idioms, expressions, and all of the things you cannot learn in a simplified workbook. Why do we talk the way we talk? Why does it sound different when you say it and how can you improve that? Why do we have so many verb tenses? How do letters such as H, LL, and Ñ work, and where do they come from?
This is not the class where you will learn Spanish the usual way, rather a space to learn to love its roots and take it to a higher level of practice. This is where you can bring all of your curiosities and find new ones. This is where you will find new conversation topics, and you will practice your Spanish in a more realistic way without being afraid of any judgment.
The class also shapes itself to your own interests and needs. I will focus on the skills and information you desire to acquire.

To read is to think. When you learn how to read in a foreign language, you are also learning how to think in a said language without the need to translate every word. This means that reading helps you become more fluent and less literal. Besides that, there is so much literature to be found in the Spanish language! there are 21 countries full of diversity, culture, and tradition. There is a lot to find, learn and enjoy in Hispanic and Latin American literature.
I graduated from Letters -or Literature- in the Universidad Central de Venezuela, so this is my specialty, and I have so many beautiful and fun books to share with you!
This class works as some sort of reading and conversational club:
-I will send you a variety of books -that suit your taste- for you to read at home, then I will guide you through the reading I made as a native speaker and an avid reader.
-We will share points of view, practicing oral Spanish as well.
-I will help you improve your vocabulary by focusing on the words we read.
-You will learn new idioms and expressions, as well as dialectal and social differences between our people.
-You get to solve any of the doubts you've had while reading in Spanish.
-We will have a lot of fun with many amazing authors that are very important to our culture.

Non-formal Latin classes. Multilingual teacher with 10 years of experience. Pronunciation, historical linguistics, semantics.Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart.
I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches:
If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options:
1) Learn the schedules by heart.
2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m.
In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster.
My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results.
Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind.
I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics.
What will not be the subject of the course:
learn lists of verbs;
learn lists of nouns with their gender;
learn words with their translations;
memory card game;
doing school exercises;
follow the program in a notebook;
impose French grammar on the Latin language.
What matters to me in particular:
motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm;
encourage creativity;
make friends with language;
letters and their sounds
strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop;
teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart;
explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible;
breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ;
place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
In the context of a first course, you can get a well-founded idea of my pedagogy.
I look forward to meeting you.

I offer special sessions that meet your needs and objectives to successfully complete your DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) or DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language), including the TCF (French Knowledge Test). I have been supporting many interested people of different nationalities thanks to online courses since 2018; For me, helping enthusiasts to practice the French language is a very good experience because I understand that success is a capital objective in the life of ambitious people.
I speak Arabic, French, Spanish, and also English. I explain my lessons in the language of your choice. And at the end of each session, I give lessons with exercises to do as homework to examine your gaps and monitor your progress.
Here are some things to know about the DELF and DALF:
The DELF (Diploma of Studies in French Language) and the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language) are two official and quality diplomas. They are harmonized on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. They include the following six levels, in ascending order: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. These two diplomas are suitable for all ages and all audiences.
In addition, the DELF B2, and increasingly the DALF C1, allow students to enter French, European or French-speaking universities, and certain Grandes Ecoles.
Will you have DELF or DALF exams to pass? Do you need to follow specific sessions with me to improve your level?
Don't hesitate to book your sessions so that we can start the preparation.
