My name is Serdane and I offer French as a foreign language classes for teenagers and adults. Extrovert and bubbly ... and above all, a lot of humor! Languages are my passion, and I am always happy to share this passion with others.

Everyone learns in his own way. This is why I do not have a rigid method but adapt to the contrary to the specificities of each student. I evaluate its level, its strengths, its possible weaknesses or delays, and I develop my course accordingly. My priority, give confidence to the student: the French is within the reach of all!

I believe in active teaching methods: I try to involve the student as much as possible, to make him discover what works for him, so that he can continue his career independently.

My rate includes full support (private lessons, the ability to ask questions outside of class time, writing and correcting questions, etc.).

Looking forward to reading you.

As a native speaker, the idea of these classes are to rpovide students with the keys to communicate in Spanish or to follow up with your Spanish. The student decides the level and in which preferred areas would like to focus on and I will try too do it as fun as possible.

Hello! My name is Joy and I am a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher, with degrees in language sciences, FLE didactics and professional training in phonetics.

French is my native language, I have been teaching it for 5 years with dynamism, kindness and passion.

I have worked with learners from all over the world, children, teenagers and adults, from beginner to advanced levels. I have also worked with expatriates, professionals and international institutions.
I propose :

- Individual lessons, online or in Brussels.

- Exam preparation (including DELF/DALF)

- Professional French.

A customized learning experience
Each course is designed for YOU: your goals, your pace, and your interests. The first lesson allows us to establish a clear and motivating plan together.

An interactive and comprehensive teaching method
We work on all skills (comprehension and oral/written expression) through varied and engaging activities.

A focus can be placed on:

- Pronunciation and phonetics (accent reduction, oral fluency, oral confidence)

- Specific professional objectives (French for Specific Purposes, business French, internal communication)

- Exam preparation (DELF/DALF, FIDE, IB, etc.)

All of this takes place in a supportive and motivating environment.
I make it a point of honor to create a trusting environment where you feel comfortable progressing.

If you are interested, please feel free to contact me.

Native French speaker, I've followed in Dutch education till my master that I finished in French. Therefore, I am a perfect bilingual.

The first objective is to learn / review the basics of French with the student, grammar, and a precise vocabulary.
Depending on the objectives set by the student, I can prepare appropriate lessons / materials for the courses.

I can offer conversation classes at very different levels, from informal discussions with idiomatic expressions to business negotiation dialogues.

As for the pronunciation of French, it is a real challenge because written French is often very different from its articulation.

The verbo-tonal method that I use, and which is often used by speech therapists, is particularly suitable for correcting French pronunciation for those of you who are not native French speakers, but also for native French speakers who wish to get rid of an accent.

We will work on the sounds of the language integrated into the sentence, the rhythm, the intonation and considered as a living and evolving system.

This method is very effective. You will see your progress very quickly and your self-confidence will allow you to overcome any reluctance you may have had before to express yourself in public. For others, having a more neutral pronunciation in French can be a significant asset professionally.

In an increasingly connected world where people and information move almost without limits, foreign languages have become an indispensable asset. I am a self-taught language learner myself (except english and dutch that I studied properly), so I know the difficulties that some students may experience during their studies. I offer support in teaching french (which is my mother tongue). I teach both children and adults. My method also consists of encouraging speaking and correcting pronunciation, which I feel are too neglected in most teaching methods.

I am a student who has not yet graduated in Classics, but I have a linguistic diploma (English, French, Spanish and Italian) and a DELF B2 certificate.
I give lessons to convey the input of knowledge through deep study, but not mentally heavy. I would like to help students who have difficulties and who feel disadvantaged when it comes to school subjects. I would like to motivate the student to give the maximum with the "minimum" effort and above all to make people understand how important culture is nowadays.
I would like to give my study method to those who are confused about the approach to language study and not only.
Anyone can participate in my classes, it is not necessary to have any prerequisites, on the contrary the basics will be what we will work on the most because they make the difference in the study. I will be happy to accompany the student in his path of academic growth and especially to teach him the methodology to face any problem at the level of the study.

Specializing in translation and teaching French (abroad), I offer general academic support for homework and reviewing concepts of French linguistics, grammar and spelling.
My course is aimed at lower/upper secondary school students and higher education and university students; I have experience in preparing for the central jury, university entrance exams and students studying linguistics, translation and speech therapy.

I will adapt my way of working and my teaching methods according to my student and what he wants to improve: oral or written expression, reading and analysis of books (themes, characters), writing summaries of texts or arguments on subjects often given in the Central Jury exams or university admission exams.
I have experience working with teenagers and young adults, and my teaching also includes coaching. I am willing to travel to my student's home, and they are also welcome to visit me at my home (Uccle).

Writer and poet with 2 books published at only 18 years old with several media appearances (debates on RTBF, RTL, etc.) I am also a finalist in the ELSA 2024 eloquence competition. An experienced and attentive teacher, it is important to me to make each of my students feel comfortable by patiently responding to their individual needs.

Communication is a fairly broad topic. During the courses, we address the specific needs of the student, covering writing, improving register, oral language, eloquence, gestures, languages (English, French), digital communication, and much more!

Studying a language is not just about memorizing lists of verbs, it is above all about being able to express oneself with confidence.
My approach is simple: clarity and practical application are my priorities. Whether it's for French (FLE), Spanish, or Italian, we'll work on what truly matters to you.
Zero blockage: We practice speaking from the beginning so that speaking becomes natural.
Current content: We use a variety of media (videos, articles, podcasts) to understand the language as it is spoken today.
School effectiveness: For students, we go straight to the essential points to unlock understanding.

My approach for our first meeting:
The first session is dedicated to your goals and interests. I like to build my lessons around your passions: this allows us to work on specific vocabulary and conversation topics that truly motivate you. A lesson tailored to you is a lesson where progress is faster.

When do we start?

I am an incoming student at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, where I will be studying English and Chinese.
I am already quite familiar with English, as I use it on a daily basis. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to go on an immersion trip to England, which allowed me to work on my pronunciation and develop my vocabulary.
I also have Spanish-speaking people around me, who has helped me improve my vocabulary and fluency in that language.

I try to adapt as much as possible to the student's needs as well as the teaching method that works best for them. Everyone is different, and so are learning styles. I will discuss the student's preferences with them to tailor the lessons, helping them view English, French, or Spanish in a positive light.
