I can give you advice about music theory, how to act on stage, and reach your performing goals. Always feel free to ask anything you want to know, good communication and transfer of knowledge will speed up your progress.
I teach children and adults, we can prepare together auditions, concerts, exams, or any program you would like to play for yourself.

About Me

I am a positive and optimistic person who believes anyone can learn to play with the right information and good approach. I am precise in explanations, easy to follow and fun to work with. There is no pressure, just productive work and help for you to break boundaries and be better every day so we can both be proud on our progress :)

Education

I finished primary music school in Podgorica, Montenegro, playing violin. I switched to viola in high school, and graduated viola in 2010 on "Faculty for music arts" in Belgrade. I have a master diploma.

Experience / Qualifications

I was a professor of viola and violin in special boarding school for musically gifted children "Skola za muzicke talente Cuprija", for five years. The school is founded and lead by "Academy of music arts" in Belgrade. There are three schools in the world of that kind: in London, Moscow and Serbia. My students got 25 1st and few 2nd awards in republic and international competitions, and all of them signed in to desired academies in Germany, Canada and Serbia as first on the list and with full scholarships. In two competitions I got awards as the best viola teacher.

Since the audition in 2017, I am a permanent member of Symphony orchestra "Stanislav Binicki".
I was a member of Royal chamber orchestra St. George for four years and took part in many world tours. I played also in National Radio and Television orchestra in Serbia, Orchestra of National theater of Serbia, National Symphony orchestra of Montenegro and National Symphony orchestra in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I was a member of orchestras which took part in projects "Bridges for the future" in Bern, Switzerland, “Festival junger Kunstler”, Bayreuth, Germany, “Deutsch-Skandinavischen Jungend-Philharmonie” in Berlin, “Music days international festival” in Russe, Bulgaria etc...

I am currently a Ph.D. student in the 3rd year of studies in Management for culture and media, on the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade.
I tend to explain to students as simple and as effective as possible. My students enjoy classes, love to play and ask many questions :) I insist on good technique and posture because even if it takes a little bit more time in the beginning, it makes future progress easy and fast.

I’m an Australian born piano teacher currently residing in Belgrade, Serbia. I have over 7 years of experience teaching private piano lessons to students of all ages (from 4 years - adult) from various cultural backgrounds in Sydney, Australia.
I have also organized yearly concerts for all my students and am very passionate about introducing the art of music to beginners and those wanting to improve their theory and piano technique.
