I'm applying fresh and very inspiring, fun methodology teaching jazz, classical, pop music on piano, composition, songwriting, music theory and singing both for newbies and professionals, children and and adults too!

About Me

I am a professional pianist who has mastered the specifics of virtually all styles of music and has played in many international jazz, pop music and classical music projects. I'm happy to share my experience with everyone who plays music or dreams of playing or producing music!

I do adapt an individual program for everyone according to their musical preferences and needs.
I learn to read sheet music, theory, fundamentals, philosophy and psychology of music, pianism, improvisation, composition and even singing and songwriting. I explain the principles of creating the most popular songs, how to perceive and understand their structure, elements of harmony and melody and their relationship.

I help to learn to read chords and accompany vocalists, I provide the necessary knowledge of stylistics and harmony to producers.
I can teach you to play any favorite song or track without even learning to read sheet music. We can learn to read only chords or only notes or apply the method of playing only by hearing.

You’ll learn to improvise, in any style - whether it’s your favorite
composer (wish to learn to compose and improvise like Ludovico Einaudi? No problem!), jazz, blues or popular contemporary music style. I will create you a real intellectual foundation from which you will experience more and more freedom in your musical creativity.

I help prepare for exams. I explain complex principles in jazz, pop music harmony, progressions, chord interpretations. I explain how to construct a variety of musical textures and rhythms on piano, that you would become a one-man orchestra and let your imagination get wings. :)

Hello!

I'm an award-winning Canadian classical pianist and experienced teacher offering piano lessons for all levels, beginner to advanced. I have performed with orchestra and has a soloist in various festivals across Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, in addition to being a prize winner in numerous competitions, as well as the recipient of numerous grants and awards.

Having over 15 years of experience as a teacher (including my own private studio and a teaching assistant at the University of Montreal), I am very dedicated to my students of each person.

The 5 string banjo is an amazing instrument. It's driving trademark sound and it's African roots has contributed to many music traditions, including Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and world music.

In my class you'll first learn the basics, how to hold and pick and read tablatures. We'll then go through how to play a tune, accompany other instruments and finally, improvise. During the year I'll teach you basic music theory like rhythm, harmony and a bit of ear training to help you develop your understanding and relationship to the instrument.

We'll mainly play Bluegrass Scruggs style at first, then we'll dive into melodic style and sigle string, that will all be useful for playing other kinds of music, like Irish music, Pop, Jazz or Blues. Practicing the piano since the age of 4, I obtained in 2020 my DEM (Diploma of musical studies) from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Strasbourg (Alsace) (equivalent to the Swiss Certificate). I am now a bachelor's student in opera singing and piano at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne since September 2020.
