About Me

Tomás Enrique was born in Argentina in 1993, he is currently developing as a performer of academic guitar. He began his studies in classic guitar in the year 2014 to later begin his formar studies at the Santa Ana private conservatory in the year 2015, there he received lessons from the performer Gustavo Collazo(who was a student of Eduardo Fernandez) for 3 years.
In 2018 he entered the Nationar university of the Arts in the Bachelor of Music(Universidad Nacional de las artes''UNA'') with a specialization in guitar where he is studying under the tutelage of the teacher, performer and composer Camilo Verga. He is currently preparing his graduation thesis and studying the last year of guitar program, in turn he works as a private teacher of different musical styles always seeking to stimulate and promotethe learning of music and the guitar. Among his most oustanding concerts is his debut ''full concert (1:00:00 of duration)'' in 2022 in Zárate organized by the: ''Asosicación Amigos de la Música de Zárate''. Hello! I've been teaching continuously for over 10 years, and I'd like to explain what you can expect from a class with me.

Personalized approach: The most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I will tailor the lessons to your needs: playing for pleasure at home is not the same as preparing for entrance exams (although always with the same rigor). Your goals will influence the methodology, the organization of your studies, the repertoire, and so on.

Relaxed (but rigorous) environment: Once you've defined your goals, classes will be dynamic and pressure-free. Note! "Relaxed" doesn't mean undemanding; we'll just avoid military methods—especially given my personality and sense of humor.

Music, not just notes: My methods are very dynamic, with a special emphasis on hearing and musicality. No "read, play, and turn the page." I avoid approaches obsessed with reading sheet music without memorizing, listening, or understanding what is being played. I want you to own your performance and make artistic decisions. Warning! I might even make you sing.

As an experienced music theory tutor and professional pianist, I use a curriculum established by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in the UK to guide students from grades 1-8 (beginning up to early-advanced levels) towards mastery of music theory. This is not a casual lesson. It is a structured professional assessment for students who practise regularly but do not fully understand why their playing still does not sound free, stable, expressive or convincing.

I am a Russian-trained concert pianist and piano educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience, international performance background, recordings, masterclasses and academic-level teaching experience.

My experience with guitar started with classical guitar when I was 6 years old and moving on to playing electric guitar at age 14.
Being immersed in playing primarily blues and jazz music.

I have taught students who not only do music as a hobby, but also students with serious career plans in music. I am open to various styles of playing guitar (jazz, blues, fingerstyle, funk, free improvisation and other popular genres) to all levels.
