Welcome to my class, it's a pleasure to join you in this journey of exploring new sounds and news ways of making music.
My objective is to help you learn "how to learn" music :-) So you can follow your own path making music forever. There will be lots of ear training and development, the sound comes from your head and your ears, not from your hands.
You'll learn:
- The basics: proplery tuning your guitar, posture, change strings, strumming and fingerstyle, brazilian, bossa nova, samba, and more
- From easy chords and strumming patterns, to more complex chords and rhythms
- Pretty chords and creative ways to create your own chords
- Introduction to music theory (or we can go deep and complex if that's your cup of tea)
- How to play pop tunes in a more creative way, making it mellower or spicier,, or even compose your own songs
- Introduction to cool brazilian songs, old and new, different styles and rhythms
- How to play to accompany other singers, or yourself if you are a singer
- Differences of playing solo or playing in a band context
