Introducing the Violin, Reading Music and Music Theory.

In this class you will learn to develop skills on the violin, the parts of the violin and bow and how to produce a good sound. In addition to demonstrating this, I will allow the students to ask questions to learn about violin playing, and will answer them accordingly.

You will need your own violin (I can advise you on the size), music (I can advise you which book to get), and a music stand.

My name is Luca and I am a recently graduated high school student and current music student. I've played guitar from an early age and have been academically studying it for 2 years. The general basis these lessons would cover would be simple guitar technique, the basics of music theory (in order to inform our guitar playing) as well as simple chords and voicings and improvisational technique. The aim of these lessons is to create a basic understanding of the instrument as well as create a passion for it, so that that the student may continue to advance their skills independently.

I teaching the violin for about 10 years, and I have taught students of all ages and a variety of learning development, which I am flexible and able to provide a diverse learning environment that makes learning engaging and provides the essentials for each of my students to challenge what they need to know and polish that skill, to play the violin successfully.

I am flexible with time and day, I teach students face-to-face to online if they are overseas. And I promise that I will teach each student to the best of my ability!

Gain the skills you need in order to discover and improve your instrument of choice while avoiding harmful habits. Lessons include learning various skills and techniques such as understanding music fundamentals; how to read sheet music, aural, rhythm, and pitching work, sight reading, learning a strong technical foundation, improved musicianship skills, performance skills, how to care for your instrument, and an emphasis on finding your individual needs.

For vocal lessons you will gain increased breath control and capacity, develop your vocal range, improve your voice quality and control, strengthen pitching abilities, learn how to care for your voice, receive assigned vocal exercises, and find your own unique voice.

Piano and violin lessons lean towards traditional classical methodology, and specialise in The Suzuki Method. Vocal lessons are more contemporary based. However, you can still work on pieces of your choosing ranging from various genres and styles as Klara will try to accommodate to your needs.

Beginner to intermediate adults and children are welcome!
