About Me

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I am currently a master's student in musicology at Sorbonne University. In Rio I had a university training in music - singing (equivalent to a conservatory) and afterwards I gave lyric singing lessons. During my studies I was able to participate in several master classes with Alicia Casuso, Laura Bruneti, Katharina Kegler and Mitsuko Shirai. I have already participated in 2 debuts in the Biennial of Contemporary Music in Rio de Janeiro in 20015 and between 2014 and 2017 I worked as a soprano in the choral Brazil Ensemble of UFRJ - a choir for singers and conductors of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. I participated in the beginning of the contemporary opera "Os Irmãos Repentistas e os Pandeiros Encantados". In 2017 I was soloist of the show: "Cantatas Dramáticas de Berlioz" (which was a selection of staged melodies). Since the second semester I have been an instructor in the singing department, to help with the singing lessons and in the diction and pronunciation lessons. In the last year of training I worked with vocal preparation in a group for choir.
I also had a parallel formation in "belting" (American musical style) to be able to give lessons of "pop" singing, since it was the style most requested in Rio.
