I am an experienced professional drummer & percussionist of over 25 years and have worked across the world and for many leading artists and touring productions. I have taught regularly to all levels including Grade 8, Diploma, Undergraduate and Professional from Beginner and have worked for numerous UK education authorities and music services. I am also an international graded music examiner of 14 years having administered over 30,000 exams worldwide and for two examining boards and several different syllabus requirements. My teaching reflects my performing and examining experience with high quality and thorough tuition throughout all levels with a particular emphasis on performance, musicianship, and graded examination requirements, where I have a 100% pass record across over 300 candidates, mostly at either Merit or Distinction level.

I teach all of drum kit, orchestral percussion (timpani, tuned, orchestral snare drum) and latin percussion (congas, bongos, timbales, etc) and aim to make all lessons as fun, engaging and informative as possible and all within a constructive, positive and friendly environment.
