About Me

I am a professional piano teacher and have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old. I attended the Conservatory in Baku (Baku Music Academy) and was awarded a master's degree (graduate diploma) in piano performance in 2007.
I have been teaching piano for 18 years at the Music College and has experience with students of all ages and levels both online and face to face. I will train you to play classical music whether you want to learn the basics of piano playing or to perform any piece at a professional level. I am fluent in three languages: English, Russian and Turkish.

Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. I am a professional musician and have been teaching students of all ages for over 20 years. My experience as a teacher and my pursuit of self-improvement as a musician have led me to develop an effective method that I have already tested with over a hundred students.

My role in my classes is more that of a personal trainer than a teacher, where I will be very attentive to bringing out the best in my students, finding the right technique to help them develop a good rhythm, working on their rhythm, etc.

Methodology:

This course is designed to build skills in either playing the cello, music theory, ear training, or all three! If you are seeking to learn cello this course is a great place to start. I am most familiar with the suzuki books, however I am dedicated to making cello and music as widely available as I can, so if access to sheet music is a challenge I am open to pursuing alternate lesson plans.
