Namaste! I teach authentic Carnatic music for students worldwide - from beginners to advanced levels, for all ages.

My classes are 1-to-1 live on Zoom/Google Meet. I teach in English, Kannada, and Hindi, and I adjust lessons to your goal - hobby, concert performance, or Trinity/ABRSM Carnatic exams.

Lessons are available for US / UK / Europe time zones (I teach 6PM to 2AM IST).

About Me

Namaste! I am a Carnatic music tutor specializing in Vocals and Violin, based in Karnataka.

Music has been my lifelong passion. Having completed Vidwath Purva in both Carnatic Vocals and Violin, I understand the discipline, patience and joy that learning classical music requires.

For me, teaching is about building a strong foundation with correct shruthi, laya and bhava, while keeping the class enjoyable and stress-free. I teach beginners to advanced learners - from basic sarale varase, alankaras to varnams, kritis and manodharma.

My classes are structured, interactive and tailored to your pace. I focus on strong basics and voice culture / bowing techniques, theory made simple, regular practice guidance and recordings for practice at home, and preparation for Karnataka Secondary Board exams (Junior, Senior, Vidwath).

I also hold an M.Tech in Digital Electronics, so I bring a very systematic and patient teaching method to my classes.

I teach in Kannada, English and Hindi. Whether you are learning for passion, for exams, or to perform on stage, I would love to guide you on your musical journey.

Hello! I am a professional opera singer, soprano, and current soloist at the Cologne Opera (Oper Köln, Germany), with stage experience at major European houses including Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Musiktheater Pforzheim, and Dutch Touring Opera.

I bring extensive real-stage experience, performance psychology, and high-level technical discipline into every lesson.

My background includes a Master of Music in Opera from the Dutch National Opera Academy in Amsterdam, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance (Distinction) from the Royal College of Music in London, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from the Moscow University of the Humanities. My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals.

Children (7–12 years old)
For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way.

Teenagers (12-17 years old)
With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests.

Adults and seniors (18+)
For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment.

Every student learns at a different pace. Some may spend more time building a solid technical foundation before moving on to more challenging repertoire, and that’s perfectly fine. My priority is to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their vocal journey.

I teach children, teenagers, and adults and seniors from complete beginners to advanced singers. My classical training provides a strong technical foundation that can be applied to any musical style, whether you enjoy pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, or classical singing. Violin and viola learning for adult beginners and returning players or in the band

I have been teaching adult beginners and intermediates to play the violin and viola for 10 years. The focus is very different. One person would like to find relaxation in playing the violin. Another would like to be able to play a certain piece because he likes it. A third has picked up the violin again after a long time.

I have had violin lessons for > 10 years and am currently studying viola at the Conservatory of Bolzano. I have 10 years of teaching experience.

I teach classical and electric violin, always tailored to the student. The lessons can also be carried out using the Suzuki method.
