My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

Hello! I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m an opera singer, currently actively performing in the contemporary field :) On top of my artistic career, which is now 20+ years old, I have 10 years of solid everyday experience in the musical teaching field, with particular regards for online teaching. My specialties are: teaching opera voice and kids’ vocality. For both of these, any level, even absolute beginner is 100% welcome! I’ve been training children and teens ever since I graduated from my position at La Scala children choir at 18 years old. I love working with kids, and it warms my heart to think of how many little faces I have already had the privilege of meeting thanks to this career. I have helped so many access to the children choirs of their respective cities, and with so many many others I have simply participated in their musical learning journey, which makes me equally proud and happy. Teaching adults is a completely different matter, of course, but it’s probably even more thrilling to me because it allows me to spend the day navigating the fascinating routes of lyrical singing technique. I know how opera studies can be confusing - to say the least; I try my best to represent a safe place for anybody who wants to explore this ancient form of art, as well as to clarify its key points and guide my students to building a correct repertoire. I give lessons for any kind of purpose: - learning music - improving musicality - preparing an audition - finding our own voice - overcoming insecurity Everybody is different, so everybody has their own path to go through; I cater my lessons to the pupil’s needs, and even if the method is always classical, I make sure that the hour of lesson is a fun moment as well as a learning experience. I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing! During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.

Experienced teacher of Oud and oriental Arabic singing for over 11 years, I am Lebanese and currently residing in Germany. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I taught at the Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and gave private lessons. In addition, I was conductor of the Loubnan Assalam oriental orchestra for over 5 years. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to start with the study of notes and musical notation before tackling pieces. Although some students prefer to play songs directly, understanding the basics of musical notation allows for faster progress in the long run. Composing your own music has always been a very rewarding task. This has never been so true as the present day when you can hear what you compose instantly if you use computers to generate and play back your own music. However, to ensure that your music sounds really great (whether using computers, manuscript or actual instruments) there are many principles to be considered. I have had a great interest in composing for over 45 years. I have composed for various combinations of instruments and voices in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities. These opportunities have enabled me to tutor students in a diverse variety of genres. The class will be personalized to your particular standard and chosen style of composition. We would focus on generic building blocks such as structure and instrumentation as well as looking at how to develop ideas. Using a range of compositional devices will also be key to enhancing your compositions. I will tailor-make the class to suit you.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.
