I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing! During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. No experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. In my classes I teach you how to use your voice correctly when singing, improving your breathing, voice, diction, with your favorite song repertoire. The idea is to make it very dynamic so that you fall in love with your voice and are motivated to want to work on it every day. It doesn't matter how old you are, you can learn. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. In our Oud class, I will guide you through everything from basic to advanced techniques. We will cover playing for all levels, correct left-hand use, synchronizing with the right hand, handling the pick, tuning the Oud, and effectively using a tuner and metronome. In the remaining time, we will dive into reading musical notes, starting with basic Solfege and progressing to advanced and oriental Solfege, including dictation exercises. This comprehensive approach ensures a well-rounded musical journey My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. While some students prefer to jump straight into playing songs, understanding the fundamentals of music notation accelerates progress in the long run. Deepening my knowledge of singing and passing on my skills to students are the things I love to do most and I have been teaching singing to beginners and professionals for many years now. Hi, I'm an active opera singer and I offer one-to-one online singing lessons to students of all ages and abilities. I have a Master of fine arts (Department of Vocal and Acting Studies) from Lodz Musical Accademy in Poland and I've performed professionally as an opera singer in Baltic Opera. In 2020 I got a special scholarship from prestigious Accademia D'Arte Lirica in Italy. Apart from opera experience, I was a leader of the alternative rock band for many years. Currently I continue my career in Italy singing in many opera theaters and teaching. As a vocal coach I specialize in multi-genre styles such as classical, musical, pop, rock and jazz. I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer and singing teacher with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons at all levels. My lessons are aimed at developing body, muscular and vocal awareness that helps to perceive and consider our body as a musical instrument. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and learning the musical language (jazz or pop or other genre). The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the resonance cavities. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and agility. From a repertoire perspective, the course will be tailored to the student's needs or interests, with an eye to the proper attitude to have while singing and on stage.
