I've designed this course for all singing class level(beginner,intermediate,advanced).
You'll learn: simple voice technique to create more awareness about your voice sound; melodic,harmonic and rhythm principles applied to singing; understand different approaches to song interpretations; develop your own musical personality; feel totally comfortable while singing.

About Me

I'm a sensitive and empathetic person. These qualities have always been important to develop a teaching method whose principle characteristics are visible into defining lessons that can fit my students needs . My goal is to take care of the unexpressed talent of each one of my students in order to improve their confidence with their musical skills.

I graduated from the Conservatoire de Nice CNRR (France) in jazz guitar.
I studied there for seven years with renowned professors such as Jean Paul Ceccarelli (Sting), Pierre Bertrand, Robert Persi or Philippe Petit.
My teaching method is flexible and I adapt it to the needs and desires of the student.
We will discuss the technical work on the instrument, the knowledge of the neck and chords and the rhythm. With or without solfege.

My name is Carmen and I am an opera singer. I studied at the PI Chaykovsky Conservatory in Moscow and the famous Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. I attended many masterclasses in Russia, Italy and Austria with Edda Moser, Renata Scotto, Nino Machaidze etc. I was also a soloist in the Vatican Choir.

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁
I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,...
After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw!

Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc.

My name is Matteo Schifanoia, I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer, and vocal coach with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons for all levels. My lessons focus on developing body, muscle, and vocal awareness, which helps us perceive and consider our bodies as musical instruments.
My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and learning the musical language (jazz or pop or other genre).

The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the resonance cavities. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and agility.
From a repertoire perspective, the lessons will be tailored to the student's needs and interests, with an emphasis on proper stage presence and posture. I can prepare students for conservatory entrance exams and all types of auditions. If the student wishes, I can also provide instruction in harmony and music reading.

My name is Federico and I am a professional and Award Winning saxophone player.
I worked at Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles as an Assistant Professor of Jeroen Van Herzeele the jazz saxophone professor.
I graduated at Conservatorio G.Martucci of Salerno (Italy) and had both Bachelor and Master with full marks with honors. During the course of my studies i also spent two academic years abroad , one at the Kask and Conservatorium of Ghent with the supervision of Bart Defoort and one at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Bruxelles with John Ruocco.
In 2017 i won the "Massimo Urbani International Jazz Competition" prize that saw as head of the jury Kurt Rosenwinkel & Fabrizio Bosso.
I play in several Jazz bands and I have been performing all around Europe.
I recorded a solo album called "Right Now" with the famous Italian label "Philology Records" & the album"Supernova" with my own band. I also recorded several albums with different bands and of many styles, from jazz, funk to pop.
I toured with the famous Italian Drummer Tullio De Piscopo (Pino Daniele, Mina, Astor Piazzolla's drummer) and also had the chance to make a variety of television appearances on Italian National Television (Rai1, Rai5, Rai3).
