Hi everyone!
I have been playing the guitar for more than 15 years and I would like to offer you lessons for anyone interested to start playing, or someone who wants to get better.

The most important factor in the learning process is having fun, hence I would like to approach basic concepts of music theory and rhythm studies through your favorite songs. Along the way, we would also spend a lot of time in developing great technique, precision, and practice ear training.

I enjoy listening to different kinds of music and always like to explore different artists and listen to new sounds.
I would like to meet students of different ages with similar passion for music and exploration, possibly also learn from their preferences!

Education

Currently working as research associate for a PhD in Physics from the University of Hamburg, with previous studies in Physics and Finance, in Greece and Frankfurt respectively.

I have been playing the guitar more than 15 years. I did study classical guitar for 2 years, but I mostly self taught on the electric guitar. Currently studying jazz theory.

I have been playing guitar with passion for 11 years - sometimes "unplugged" acoustic guitar, but then also "on stage" electric guitar.
I am convinced that everyone can learn an instrument individually and regardless of age. Where there is a will, there's a way!
In doing so, I rely on pieces of music chosen by the pupil himself so that we can dissect and rehearse them in terms of music theory.
Working according to the student's own taste keeps the motivation at a high level. Also my willingness to patiently explain certain content several times until it works with the fingers on the fingerboard.

Learn to play your favorite pieces step by step or improve your skills on the acoustic or electric guitar / electric bass. Ukulele lessons are also possible.
Through 30 years of full-time activity as a musician, I can support you in different music styles: Rock, Pop, Latin (Brazilian music), Jazz Standard
Focus: harmony theory and improvisation

You will receive professional music lessons from an experienced musician and music teacher.
I'll show you tricks and techniques from my many years of experience as a stage and studio guitarist / bassist. If desired, recordings in my studio are also possible.

"Piano Strings" for Cover Artistry is a special course for complete beginners and advanced piano or keyboard players, who wants to explore, play and create a unique arrangement of their favourite song.
Genres: Classical music, Pop, World music.
The course is progressively made of ear training, piano playing, basics of music theory, harmony, arranging, singing and performing as a summary of learned skills.
Coaching is taking place on acoustic piano, E-piano as well as keyboard.
Lessons are taking place per Zoom or Skype for now.

Singing Lessons
I am a native English speaker and have been teaching for over 10 years. My lessons are always fun and engaging because I believe that singing should be about sharing joy. I have students of all ages. In lessons we will work towards your personal goals and towards a healthy vocal technique. We will work at your level to learn more about how the voice works and how to achieve the best sound for what you want to sing. We can use German or English for technical terminology. My speciality is classical music and opera but I have also performed in Musicals and understand the different technical demands for popular music.

I also have a scheme to help people improve sight reading skills, which is very useful if you want to join a choir.

Lessons will be made to suit your needs. You may want to pass an exam, or maybe just understand more about the dots on the page. We can use German or English technical terms for these lessons.
