All levels from beginner to advanced are welcome. I teach ages 4-18. My teaching style is friendly and every lesson is designed to suit each individual student, whatever their needs may be. I am enthusiastic about teaching and I enjoy conveying my passion for music to my students. Lessons are designed to be fun and to help each pupil achieve their musical goal.

I can help with GCSE and A level music work as well as the composition and performance aspects of these exams. I can aid with secondary school music auditions and conservatoire/university auditions. For instrumental teaching I do both theory and practical grades to help with progression of the instrument.

Music grades, I teach grade 1- diploma level on the violin and grades 1- 5 on the piano. I can teach grades 1-5 in music theory. I use both ABRSM and Trinity College London exam boards, tailoring the choice of the exam board to the needs and desires of the student.

My lessons are designed to be enjoyed so there is the option to learn to play for fun or you can take exam grades. I like to build repertoire around exam grades in order to broaden the knowledge of other pieces.

As well as working privately I also work with the Peterborough Music Hub delivering whole class instrumental lessons as well as small group and 1-1 music lessons at local schools. I am also an upper strings tutor with the Peterborough Youth Orchestra.

Online Skype lessons currently available.

Feel free to contact me and I look forward to hearing from you.
