About Me

I am a biochemistry undergraduate at Imperial College London. I am half French half American and have lived in Germany for 6 years. I have experience tutoring at GCSE level as well as in children’s summer schools. I hope to help students achieve their full potential, and increase motivation (during this pandemic especially, where motivation and work levels can drop off a bit). To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ...
