Biology is the study of life – but it doesn’t have to be boring or confusing! Whether you’re preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, or need help with your university modules, I’m here to simplify biology and make it click.
With a strong academic background in medical science and hands-on experience mentoring students, I’ll help you build a strong foundation in biology through interactive and structured sessions. We'll focus on understanding concepts, mastering key vocabulary, and learning how to answer exam questions with confidence.
You’ll learn:
• Cell biology, microbiology, immunology, genetics, anatomy and human physiology
• Ecology, evolution, and classification
• Tips for remembering complex processes
• How to break down exam questions and structure answers
• Revision techniques that actually work
Lessons are tailored to your learning style and pace — using visuals, quizzes, and exam practice.

About Me
Hello! I’m Mahima, a passionate and dedicated tutor currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours at the University of Chester, UK. I have always loved sharing knowledge and helping others understand challenging topics—especially in biology, science, English, and mathematics. My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and interactive, and I adapt my lessons to suit the student’s learning pace and style.
I’ve worked as a peer tutor, club leader, and currently serve as the BAAME Students’ Officer at my university’s Students' Union, where I represent diverse student voices and help create inclusive learning environments. This role has strengthened my communication, mentoring, and leadership skills. I’ve also led workshops, study sessions, and cultural events, showing that I know how to engage and motivate students from all backgrounds. I have experience tutoring students both informally and through structured roles such as classroom mentoring, club leadership, and volunteering. My background in debating and public speaking allows me to explain complex concepts in a clear, engaging way. I especially enjoy working with school and college-level students, helping them build confidence, develop strong academic habits, and succeed in their studies.
My teaching style is encouraging and flexible—I adapt to each learner’s pace and style, whether they need exam preparation or just help grasping the basics. I enjoy making lessons relatable, interactive, and enjoyable. With strong experience in science and communication, I help students build not just subject knowledge, but also confidence and curiosity. Whether you're preparing for exams, looking to boost your grades, or simply trying to understand a tricky topic, I’m here to help. I believe that learning should be enjoyable and empowering—and I aim to create a safe, motivating space for every student.
