I hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Florence and a Master's in Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Pisa. I completed a research internship in nanomedicine at the University of Manchester and earned my PhD in Cancer Biology from the University of Zurich.

In this class we will learn about the methods of extracting, separating and identifying the chemical form of active chemical compounds (biologically active secondary compounds) from natural sources, such as medicinal and aromatic plants.
