As a recent graduate myself I have first hand experience of performing to the highest standard in in-person exams. Whilst this demonstrates the skill to memorise high volumes of information, I fundamentally believe thorough understanding will always be a crucial prerequisite for such memorisation. My tutoring goes far beyond deep knowledge of my subject. As an athlete myself and time spent coaching young people in a range of sports, I have experience with forming beneficial working relationships further aiding development, progress and enjoyment. I also acknowledge that tutoring is not limited to academic performance but also entails the personal development of the tutee in a broader sense. In turn, a growth mindset and promoting both confidence and perseverance sit at the core of my tutoring style. As an experienced sports coach I understand the importance of building relationships and adapting my coaching/tutoring style, to provide a tailored approach as everybody has different needs.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. The strength of my teaching approach lies in my ability to explain, in simple terms, anything a student finds complicated. I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.

The courses of Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Physics - Mechanics - Electricity - Chemistry - Organic Chemistry - Biology, Geology of the French or European French or English programs (Secondary or university levels) are given by explanations either in depth or by a rapid course and summary of essential need according to the case of each student supported by exercises from the book or by evaluations and exams from other high schools.
My experience is too long and for years, I have learned methods for each case and for each student to fill their gaps with the best results of Excellent, Very Good, and Good as mentioned by my students.
I can also help students to better prepare for courses and support them to better prepare for the duties of CNED in science subjects.

The SAT is a landmark exam for many high school students. A good exam score can be instrumental in college admissions. This course is designed to provide students with resources to set a goal score, make a study plan, and feel confident on test day. I got a 1530 on my most recent SAT, and I am dedicated to uplifting students to and beyond that score.
I can help specifically with the English and Math multiple choice parts of the exam. With students I will cover both content, the information being tested on the exam, and testing strategies, how to more efficiently and effectively take the test. The essay portion of the SAT has mostly been discontinued, so I don't cover it when tutoring for the exam.
