About Me

Before becoming an English tutor, I worked as a civil servant for two different government departments, focusing on asylum operations, addressing cases of human trafficking and modern slavery, as well as specialising in data policy and information transparency within the Digital, Data, and Technology branch.

However, driven by my passion for education and cross-cultural communication, I left to work as an English tutor abroad. Over the past 5 years, I've had the pleasure of travelling and living in over 20 countries, ranging from East and West Africa to East and South Asia, the Middle East, and Southern and Western European countries. This diverse experience has allowed me to immerse myself in various cultures and connect with people from all over the world. I hold a Bachelor of Laws from Sheffield Hallam University before conducting a Master's degree in International and Comparative Criminal Justice from Leeds University. Conversational Spanish is a very important part of the learning as it is the natural way to learn it. My classes are designed to help students to learn in a natural way by choosing a topic and dealing with that topic from all angles: grammar, speaking, listening and translating. That helps students to gradually absorb what they are studying. I usually conduct a relaxing lesson where students feel they can improve and learn at their own pace.
Even if you are an absolute beginner you will be able to speak some Spanish by the end of the first lesson.
