About Me

I am an English teacher who would like to help beginner learners to love and learn English.
I have been teaching English for two years now and I am looking forward to meeting a lot of amazing students here to help them improve and be better. My class offers a comprehensive class wherein every students will start on learning the basics up until the advance once. Students will also be given different activities to help assess and evaluate their learning.
I would like to help foreign students to be better in speaking in English in order for them to connect to the whole world and open doors of opportunities.

As a teacher, it is my delight to see students learn and grow. I am hoping to meet a lot of foreign students and interact with them via online class.

I took Bachelor of Secondary Education - Major in English at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University South La Union Campus - Batch 2022-2024. I graduated last July 13, 2023. I took English as my major because I have always found English as a fascinating language due to its ability to connect people from all around the world despite their different races and main language. I am hoping to help beginner learners to see the beauty of the English language.

My methodology: Learning to structure one's thoughts to express oneself better
My approach is based on a simple observation: success is not achieved through lack of effort, but often through a lack of method and confidence. My role is to transform subjects sometimes perceived as abstract (Philosophy, French) or intimidating (English) into concrete tools for success.

The typical course of a session:
1. Quick diagnosis: We start by identifying the areas of uncertainty from the previous lesson or the difficulties with a specific exercise.
2. Taking action: No boring lectures! We work on concrete exercises, essay plans or oral practice (in English) to "learn by doing".
3. The "Montreal Method": Having worked for two and a half years in Quebec, I use a North American pedagogy that is very focused on encouragement, clear structure and student autonomy.
4. Summary & Objectives: We end each session with a recap of the key points so that the student knows exactly what to revise.

What makes the difference: As a philosophy student, I don't just teach authors; I teach the methodology that allows students to think for themselves about major philosophical concepts.
