I’m a BSc biochemistry graduate with honours from Durham University, and currently a medical student, with the aim to go into cardiothoracic surgery. I have been tutoring for over 5 years now, and have vast experience in teaching biology, english language and literature and geography, particularly online. After gaining As and A*s in my GCSEs and A-levels, I'm confident that I can help you to do the same, whilst utilising my knowledge of various exam board curriculums and what to expect in exams.

I make my own tailored material and have a great knowledge of exam boards to ensure the best quality teaching possible, making it specific for your specification so that you can have a brilliant understanding and do well in your exams, reaching your full potential. Sessions are extremely interactive and include topic specific PowerPoints with useful diagrams, exam style questions, quizzes and various activities to ensure understanding and an overall enjoyable experience.

I have a track record of helping students improve their grades and try my hardest to make sessions as relaxed, focused and engaging as possible, whilst being extremely effective. I understand that everyone learns differently and have previously helped students go from consistent 3s/4s to achieving 7s/8s in their GCSE English exams, and am confident that anyone can do the same with the correct approach and technique.

In addition, I have 3 years of experience as a student mentor, helping students to understand their individual learning styles, write personal statements, and prepare for entrance exams.

I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
