I have been a teacher for over 12 years. I have taught English and Spanish to teenagers and adults of different levels in both face-to-face and online classes, but mostly I've taught in language institutes.

I like teaching English and Spanish not only because I have always been passionate about learning languages, but also because I often make my students smile, laugh and feel comfortable in class.

Your needs, goals, motivation and interests are my priority. I have experience teaching business and general English so students can have a wider vocabulary. I also have experience in Human Resources, hiring people, so I can help you be prepared for job interviews.

I love to talk and ask questions and I encourage my students to do the same so they can work on their communicative skills. I've achieved to improve my students confidence and fluency by using English in different real life situations.

Hello,

I'm Laura from Colombia (currently living in Belgium) and I speak English and Spanish fluently. I've been an English teacher for over 12 years.

Having worked at primary school, high school, and at language institutes, I'm experienced at teaching all kinds of levels and age groups and am very familiar with CEFR levels.

I love traveling and listening to rock music. I used to play bass guitar in a band and hope to play again soon.

We have had lessons from Hans for a total of 3 years. During Hans lessons, you do not only learn what the theory is or how the assignment works, but also how to apply it yourself. He does this by looking at the material in his own unique way, which gives you a better view of the theory. As a result, we both went from a 6 on average to an 8. As a native Spanish speaker I am, I offer particular Spanish classes for people of any level. Since the methodology I use is based essentially in conversation but also in useful resources and dynamic activities to develop oneself's skills, I can easily adapt the class to the student's need.

From my experience, I have realized a language can only be learnt by acquiring the need to speak it. For that reason, basing classes on spontaneous and natural conversations is the best way to become fluent. Would be a pleasure to be part of your Spanish learning process!

The most important thing for me to begin with is to know the purpose and level of the student. After that we choose a teaching method together.
I learn all the skills in different ways (games, videos, books...) The lesson never gets boring. We speak Spanish or Dutch from day one. I can offer English tutoring for grades 3 through to DP2 in IB English. I passed the IB with a consistent 7 in English Language and Literature (the highest English course available) and received full marks for most of my assignments. I can help with fundamental concepts, understanding of what is expected to meet the IB's requirements, and how to answer the questions and do the assignments to meet the specific expectations of the IB. MY EXPERIENCE

As for English, I was raised in an international school environment where English was a core part of my education from childhood through high school. I earned my TOEFL certificate before beginning my current bachelor’s studies, which are entirely in English.
